Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of the study of environmental bioethics in the governance of territories within a context of diverse environmental problems and with difficult solutions. The research is carried out at the Nueva Granada Military University in Bogotá D.C. in the year 2020. The environmental problem in Colombia is addressed using a screening of the bibliographic postulates referring to education in environmental bioethics, taking into account the role of human beings in the protection of the environment, the biosphere and biodiversity as points out the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights. The research establishes education in environmental bioethics as the spur of governance for the solution of environmental problems in the process of a cultural transformation of the development paradigm. It is concluded that environmental bioethics is a fundamental bulwark of interactions between communities and State entities for the preservation of life and ecosystems as a model of governance in the search for sustainable development. ; En el presente artículo se analiza la importancia del estudio de la bioética ambiental en la gobernanza de los territorios dentro de un contexto de problemáticas ambientales diversas y con difícil solución. La investigación se desarrolla en la Universidad Militar Nueva Granada de Bogotá D.C. en el año 2020. Se aborda el problema ambiental en Colombia empleando un tamizaje de los postulados bibliográficos referentes a la educación en bioética ambiental, teniendo en cuenta el papel de los seres humanos en la protección del medio ambiente, la biosfera y la biodiversidad como lo señala la Declaración Universal sobre Bioética y Derechos Humanos. En la investigación se establece la educación en bioética ambiental como el acicate de la gobernanza para la solución de las problemáticas ambientales en el proceso de una transformación cultural del paradigma de desarrollo.
