ResumenEl artículo versa sobre la creciente importancia que las sociedades post-industriales prestan a la sexualidad como elemento identitario. Igualmente se hacen distintas reflexiones sobre la implicación de esta con la salud, la belleza y la imagen, así como la implicación del sujeto en el control de los cuerpos y los debates políticos recientes sobre este último aspecto.AbstractThe article deals with the growing importance that post-industrial societies provide to sexuality as an identity element. Likewise, there are different reflections on its implication with health, beauty and image, as well as the involvement of the subject in the control of the bodies, and the recent political discussions on this last point.
