School learning and mental development: Lev Vygotski and the problem of education ; Apprentissage scolaire et développement psychique: Lev Vygotski et le problème de l'éducation

Abstract

The problem we propose to address in this article is the way in which the education of children was questioned at the beginning of the Constitution of the Soviet Union. In what way was the act of leading the driving of children thought of? In order to answer this question, we examine all the work of Lev Vygotski and, more specifically, his cardial book Pensée and Language. Our interpretation is that the Vygotskian concept of a 'future area of development' is a central element inherent in the art of leading individuals and not so much a more or less adequate scientific representation of an objective reality distinct from and prior to the thought of the familiar subject. ; Le problème que nous nous proposons de traiter dans cet article réside dans la manière dont a été questionnée l'éducation des enfants au commencement de la constitution de l'Union Soviétique. Sous quel prisme réflexif a été pensé l'acte consistant à diriger la conduite des enfants ? Pour répondre à cette question, nous examinons l'ensemble des travaux de Lev Vygotski et plus précisément son ouvrage cardial Pensée et langage. Notre interprétation est que le concept vygotskien de « zone prochaine de développement » est un élément central inhérent à l'art de conduire la conduite des individus et non pas tant une représentation scientifique plus ou moins adéquate d'une réalité objective distincte et préalable à la pensée du sujet connaissant.
