Abstract

In this May 10, 1923 letter John S. Apperson Jr. thanked Dr. Howard Melish for his speech at the public hearing before the NYS Senate Finance Committee on the Lake George Park bills. As a result of the hearing and the work of Apperson and his associates $75,000 was appropriated by New York State for the purchase of lands on Tongue Mountain, Lake George, NY.
