Abstract

Der Artikel beschreibt anhand der Fallstudie Casablanca das Wirken von Gouverneur General Hubert Lyautey während seiner Amtszeit 1912-1925. In dieser Zeit erarbeitete er bedeutende städtische, regionale und nationale Planungsprojekte, die für Marokko zukunftsweisend waren. Am Beispiel Casablanca werden die sozialen Veränderungen und Probleme erörtert. (DÜI-Gri)
