Abstract
The first half of the twentieth century, marked by two world wars and an international economic crisis, is a time of profound change in the cultural relationship between Europe and Latin American countries. The study of cultural circulation in times of war or crisis on one side of the Atlantic, its continuation or disappearance and the ways in which it is protracted is a good indicator of how the relationship with the former European Cultural Matrix is evolving in Latin America. ; International audience ; The first half of the twentieth century, marked by two world wars and an international economic crisis, is a time of profound change in the cultural relationship between Europe and Latin American countries.
