Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) bertujuan menjadikan sesuatu bentuk perwujudan dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yakni pengabdian, sebagai indeks pembangunan masyarakat melalui karya dan bukti nyata. Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) adalah salah bentuk kerja yang nyata pada lingkungan masyarakat untuk pemberdayakan masyarakat pedesaan yang dirancang oleh mahasiswa yang mampu mengantarkan mahasiswa menjadi individu yang lengkap dengan bimbingan seorang dosen, baik dalam memanfaatkan ilmu, kemampuan menganalisis kondisi masyarakat sekitar, serta memberikan solusi dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan sosial, ekonomi, kesehatan, pendidikan maupun politik sesuai bidang keilmuan yang dimiliki. Dilihat dari problematika yang terjadi dilapangan maka kami membuat program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) terbagi kedalam empat bidang yang didalamnya terdiri dari bidang pendidikan, keagamaan, kewirausahaan, lingkungan sosial kesehatan dan infrastruktur. Data dikumpulkan melalui multimetode seperti wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan perekaman audio visual. Hasil dari kuliah kerja nyata ini menunjukan bahwa merupakan barometer kemampuan para pelaksana mengabdikan dan mengamalkan ilmunya dalam dunia lapangan yang menghadapi beberapa masalah yang terjadi didunia kehidupan yang berkelompok dan juga bisa meningkatkan profesionalisme kapasitas kompetensi bagi lulusan program yang ada di perguruan tinggi tersebut.Kata Kunci: KKN, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Program Kegiatan. INCREASED LOVE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND EMPOWERMENT OF RURAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS ABSTRACTKuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) aims to make one of the form of the realization of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi namely devotion, as an index of community development through works and tangible proof. Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is one of rural community empowerment activities designed by students who are able to deliver students into complete individuals with guidance of a lecturer, both in mastery of science, the ability to analyze the condition of the surrounding community, and provide solutions in overcoming various social problems, economic, health, education and politics in accordance with the field of science owned. Judging from the problems that occurred in the field then we make the program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) divided into four areas in which consists of education, religious, entrepreneurship, social environment health and infrastructure. Data were collected through multimethods such as interviews, observation, documentation studies, and audio-visual recording. The result of this real work lecture shows that it is a barometer of the ability of students to face and practice their knowledge in the field field that faces some problems that occur in the world of social life and also can increase the professionalism of competency capacity for graduates of the existing programs in the college.

German human geography during the late nineteenth – early twentieth century most experienced revolutionary changes in its methodology, which was connected with the socio-political life of the country at that time. In the 1960s mathematical and statistical methods of social phenomena became particularly popular in the human-geographic studies in theUS. There was a shift toward the analysis of group behavior, the relationship between man and nature that led to the formation of such a trend in science as geography of spatial perception. Among the areas of human geography that developed in theUKin the 1990s it is worth to distinguish the environmental management, geography of life quality, medical geography, regional economic, historical and political geography.Within the bounds of Soviet region-complex school of economic geography the following industrial concepts of science took shape, such as: economic zoning and complexation; regional planning; geography of industry; geography of agriculture; geography of transport; geography of cities; geography of population and settlement; local economic and geographical studies; historical geography; geography of nature management; social geography; economic and geographic mapping and modeling.Thus, human geography in foreign countries after the Second World War was largely represented within five subjects: economic, social, cultural, political and historical geography. Among the areas of foreign human geography at the end of the twentieth century it is also worth noting the behavioral geography, cognitive (educational) geography, radical geography, feminist geography, Marxist geography, positivist geography, post-colonial geography, poststructuralist geography, psychoanalytic geography and spatial analysis. ; В статье раскрыты особенности формирования научных школ в зарубежной общественной географии ХХ века: немецкой, американской, британской, французской и советской. При анализе каждой из выделенных национальных научных школ выделены ключевые этапы их оформления, приоритетные направления исследований и наиболее известные результаты исследований представителей этих школ. В результате выполнения исследования сделан вывод о развитии пяти основных направлений зарубежной общественной географии: экономического, социального, культурного, политического и историко-географического. ; У статті розкрито особливості формування наукових шкіл у зарубіжній суспільній географії ХХ століття: німецької, американської, британської, французької та совєтської. Newly stated Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) set as a background to develop the curriculum andtherefore students of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Udayana University as part of active populationdo intenship to recognize the government institutions work patterns. The textbooks become 'social spirit' (Etzioniin Poloma, 2013: 355) in Works Integrated Learning/WIL as research methodology. The internship evaluated tomeasure workers well understood taxes and procedure of political parties' accountability. This 2016 year, there were62 students from departments of Public Administration, Political Sciences and Sociology at Udayana University tostudy two textbooks of 'Population & Taxes' and 'Political Parties' Accountability' in order to do the internship tenhours at each institutions after their middle exam. The internship was measured by survey of student's perception,so as pre and post test before and after they go to the internship places. Hypothesis test shows that internshipsignificantly influential to increase student achievement to understand the pattern of work at each institutions by TPaired Test resulting mean deviation 2.46 before internship to 4.66 after that. Male students (34 students from threedepartments) are having better scores for both pre and post-test in comparison to 28 female students. The score ofpost-test was the combination of score from lecturers and adjunct team from each institutions (Madya Tax Office and 4 Pratama Tax Offices together with the city of Denpasar Commision of Election and provincial Commission ofElection offices). Student's perception of 78. 9 percent was said that fiscal desentralisation was based on the Law No.22 year 1999 and 86. 8 percent perception of students stated that low obedience of tax payer's cause by combinationof population dishonesty on income reporting, apatism and low tax socializing toward social welfare. Internshipat the Election Commission offices resulting 76.9 perception of student stated that depolitification of parties takenplace while 42.6 percent intern's perception was said that no political parties had giving public information northere was political education taken place perceived by half of interns. Unlike the internship in 2015, there was 85internship participants involving 10 adjunct institutions, this year, internship taken place in the provincial tax offices(5 KPP), the Election Commission at city of Denpasar so as provincial office. In the future, it was recommended thatinternship length will be longer to increase professional competence of FISIP Udayana University students. Thus,beside the obedience of tax payment of students will be increasing, those alumni of FISIP Udayana University canbecome the tax or political paarties consultants that put ahead the welfare of population.

В статье определены научно-исторические и социально-педагогические основы развития дошкольных образовательных учреждений в Нижегородской губернии в контексте российского историко-педагогического образования. Выделены причины создания сети дошкольных образовательных учреждений: политические; социальные, психолого-педагогические. Выявлена динамика государственной системы дошкольного воспитания включающая в себя: детские ясли и очаги, детские сады и площадки, детские дома и др. Цель: определить научно-исторические и социально-педагогические основы развития дошкольных образовательных учреждений в 1917-1930 гг. в Нижегородской губернии. Метод или методология проведения работы. Реализуя принципы научности и историзма, использовались общие для исторической науки методы (выявление, анализ, обобщение, изучение архивных и опубликованных материалов; конкретно-исторический, теоретический и системный анализ), также нашли свое применение специфические методы, присущие историко-теоретическим исследованиям: сравнительно-сопоставительный, ситуативно-исторический, историко-генетический, конкретно-исторический, текстологический анализ. Результаты. Предложена и научно обоснована системная характеристика дошкольных образовательных учреждений в 20-е годы ХХ века в Нижегородской губер-нии в условиях изменения социально-политической сферы России. Область применения результатов. Результат представляет очевидный интерес для педагогов, социологов, историков, занимающихся исследованием вопроса дошкольного образования. ; Scientific historical-historical and social-pedagogical principals of development of a pre-school educational offices in Nizhegorodskaja gubernija in the context a Russian historical-pedagogical education are determined in the article. Causes of making of the pre-school net are distingvished: political, social, psychological-pedagogical. Rating of the state system of a pre-school up-bringing including: nursery schools and hearths, kindergartens and grounds, childrens` homes and others are discovered. Purpose: determine the scientific, historical and socio-pedagogical bases of development of preschool educational institutions in the 1917-1930 biennium in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Method or the methodology of work. Realaizing of the principles of science and historism we used generals methods for historical science methods(discovering analize, generalizing, learning of archive and published materials; concrete-historical, theoretic and a systematic analize),specific methods are also founded which are characterized for historic-theoretic researches: comparing,situational-historical,historical-genetic,concrete-historical,textological analize. Results. A system characteristic of pre-school educational offices in the 20 th years of the 20 century in Nizhegorodskaya guberniya in the conditions of changing social-political sphere of Russia is offered and based. The sphere of useing of the results The result presents an evid interest for teachers, sociologs, people who learn history, who deal researching of a pre-school teaching. Practical implications. The result is an obvious interest for educators, sociologists, historians engaged in research the issue of preschool education.

Scientific advances over recent years have had a marked effect in lowering mortality at very old ages in the developed countries, opening the prospect of routine achievement of significantly extended life spans. Some immediate responses to these trends, such as a rethinking of the actuarial assumptions underlying social security system finances, have already been required. But in the longer run many other and more fundamental accommodations would also be called for. In the paper reproduced below, from 1965, Kenneth Boulding points to some of these by means of a casual thought experiment in which longevity is set at 200 years. A striking misfit emerges between the new age distribution of the population, assumed stationary, and the age‐specific role structure that the society had evolved, forcing adjustments in the latter. Age patterns of education and working life, life‐cycle savings and consumption behavior, and intergenerational economic relations would be strongly affected. While the extreme longevity assumption (although modest compared to the Struldbrugs of Gulliver's Travels) underlines the lightheartedness of the exercise, the issues are real ones. The paper, entitled "The menace of Methuselah: Possible consequences of increased life expectancy," was originally an address to the Washington Academy of Sciences in March 1965 and published in October of the same year in the Academy's Journal (Vol. 55, no. 7, pp. 171‐179). It is reproduced here by permission of the Academy. Some minor arithmetical corrections to the savings calculations have been made.Kenneth E. Boulding (1910–93) was a distinguished economist and social scientist. Born in England, he was educated at Oxford and the University of Chicago, and subsequently taught at a series of North American universities, the longest periods at the University of Michigan and University of Colorado. He was president of the American Economic Association, as well as of a number of other learned societies, but increasingly came to play a maverick role in his profession. His prolific writings–some 40 books and hundreds of articles–spanned a wide range of subjects: Keynesian theory, the grants economy, evolutionary economics, and beyond economics to general systems theory, resources and ecology, environmental quality, social justice, and (a life‐long concern) peace and disarmament. Demographers often know of Boulding through his much‐reprinted article "Toward a general theory of growth" (Canadian Journal of Economics and Political Science, Vol. 19, no. 3, 1953). Another of his papers appeared in PDR 14 (Suppl.), 1988. Six volumes of his Collected Papers were published by Colorado Associated University Press, Boulder, CO, over 1971–85.

À travers la pensée de deux auteurs‐clés et de leurs contradicteurs, sont examinées trois périodes de l'évolution de la sociologie et de l'anthropologie au Québec: gloire, éclipse puis regain de la culture. Dans le cadre d'une conjoncture socio‐politique turbulente (non seulement liée au néo‐nationalisme québécois mais à tous les mouvements sociaux qui ont déferlé sur l'Occident depuis 1965), ces 'fortunes' et 'misfortunes' de la culture ont été marquées par des polémiques internes au champ québécois, elles‐mêmes liées aux principaux courants théoriques qui ont traversé les sciences humaines, en provenance surtout de la France et des États‐Unis: apres une periode ou regnent la culture‐cohésion/cohérence et la culture‐identité, les courants issus du marxisme imposent une éclipse dans le recours à cette problématique de la culture de même qu'un souci de totalité, et surtout une articulation aux rapports sociaux; puis cette macro‐approche sera suivie d'une résurgence de la culture, un retour vers le sujet, une affirmation du sens, une critique de l'economisme ainsi qu'une conception de la culture plus éclatée et plus matérialisée. En conclusion sont soulignés certains liens entre ces discours sur la culture et le néo‐nationalisme québécois du dernier quart de siécle.Through the thought of two key authors and their critics, three periods of the evolution of sociology and anthropology in Quebec are examined: glory, eclipse and cultural renewal. In a period characterized by social and political turbulence (linked not only to a Quebecois neo‐nationalism, but to all social movements to have appeared in the West since 1965), these fortunes and misfortunes of culture have been marked, in Quebec, by internal polemics and debates which are linked to the principal theoretical currents occuring in the human sciences emerging particularly from France and the United States. Following a period dominated by a conception of culture as coherence, cohesion and identity, key issues in Marxism overshadowed the approach of culture‐cohesion problematic and its concern for the totality, expressed above all in its articulation of social relations. Following upon the macro approach of this period is a cultural resurgence marked by a return to the subject, an affirmation of meaning and sense, a critique of economism coupled with a conception of culture which is both more vigorous and concrete. At the conclusion, key links between the developing cultural discourse and Quebecois neo‐nationalism of the last 25 years are emphasized.

The Simla Convention of 1914, held between Great Britain, China, and Tibet, demarcated the border between India and Tibet and gave birth to the McMahon Line. This volume critically examines the legacy of the 1914 Convention and explores its relevance in scholarly discourse about the status of Tibet and Sino-Indian relations more than a hundred years later. The book discusses the significance of the Simla Convention, both in terms of the geopolitics of boundaries as well as the people and the liminal borderlands they occupy, encapsulating the culture and diversity of the trans-Himalayan regions.The bookexplicates how colonial legacies, namely, the 1914 Simla Convention, have become virtual straitjackets, hardening the positions on the boundaries between India and China. It also looks at the debilitating consequences of the nation-state framework on more substantial investigations of the borderlands. Rich in archival material and drawing from the authors' fieldwork in the Himalayan regions, this book analyses muted voices of the inhabitants of the region to bring into focus the larger question of the political, economic, religious, ecological, and social life of the Himalayan peoples, which has enormous implications for both India and China. Claims of inter-state 'specialness' are commonplace in international politics. But how do some relationships between states come to be seen and categorized as 'special' in the first place? And what impact, if any, do recurring public representations of specialness have on states' political and diplomatic interaction? While much scholarly work exists on alleged instances of special relationships, and on inter-state cooperation and alliances more generally, little systematic and theory informed research has been conducted on how special relationships evolve and unfold in practice. This book offers such a comprehensive study. Theorizing inter-state relations as ongoing social processes, it makes the case for approaching special relationships as constituted and upheld through linguistic representations and bilateral interaction practices. Haugevik explores this claim through an in-depth study of how the bilateral relationship most frequently referred to as 'special' – the US-British – has unfolded over the last seventy years. This analysis is complemented with a study of Britain's relationship with a more junior partner, Norway, during the same period. The book offers an original take on inter-state relations and diplomacy during the Cold War and after, and develops an analytical framework for understanding why some state relationships maintain their status as 'special', while others end up as 'benignly neglected' ones.
