Traumatic mucormycosis mainly occurs in military conflicts, civilian trauma, and vehicle accidents. Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and tsunamis also play a major role in causing mucormycosis by inoculation. Herein, we presented a case of trauma-related mucormycosis in a 70-year-old diabetic male. He referred to a specialty clinic due to the auricular swelling after having fallen and having a major trauma in his ear. Pathologic examination of necrotic cartilage revealed broad ribbon like aseptate hyphae. Antifungal therapy with amphotericin B deoxycholate (1.5 mg/kg/day) was administered for 6 weeks as an initial therapy, and the patient was discharged with a regimen of posaconazole oral solution (400 mg PO bid with meals) for 8 weeks. He followed up for one year and there was no recurrence of the infection. In conclusion, traumatic mucormycosis is a rare but potentially life-threatening fungal infection. Early diagnosis and surgical excision are essential regarding the management of this critical condition. Knowing the underlying diseases is preferable to early diagnosis and timely initiation of antifungal therapy in order to improve survival rates.Keywords: traumatic implantation, mucormycosis, auricular cartilage, diabetic patient, Iran

The purpose of this research, conducted after the 2015 parliamentary election in Turkey, was to investigate the relations of individuals with their local in-group and an extended in-group. In-group favoritism was interpreted using relative deprivation and social identity theories. Participants were supporters of the Republican People's Party, the Peoples' Democratic Party, and the Nationalist Movement Party. After demographic variables were controlled, group-based relative deprivation and group identification predicted the endorsement of extreme bias in favor of the local in-group and extended in-group members. Second, depending on the participant's political party identity, there were significant differences in relations with members of the supported dissident political party and citizens of the Republic of Turkey.

The enactment of Law No. 15 of 2016 which regulates seafarers results in the adoption of the convention in Indonesia. The adoption of the MLC by the ILO was carried out with the aim of protecting seafarers and the shipping industry. The problem is, Indonesia actually has a regulation on Maritime Affairs, namely in Government Regulation Number 7 of 2000. Then, in terms of whether the State of Indonesia then feels the need to participate in ratifying the MLC. This then attracts the authors to examine the related arrangements regarding seafarers contained in MLC convention. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this study is how is the regulation about Seafarers in the Maritime Labor Convention, 2006?The problem approach used in this study is the statute approach. This study uses secondary data consisting of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. The results of the study show that the framework of the Maritime Labor Convention or MLC is composed of three parts, namely Articles, Regulation and Codes. The arrangements for seafarers in the MLC consist of six parts, namely: seafarers' rights; minimum requirements to work for seafarers; working conditions; accommodation, recreational facilities, food and catering; health protection, medical care, welfare and social security; compliance and enforcement.

We discuss an unusual case of a 7-year-old child who suffered from pharmacoresistant gelastic seizures was surgically treated with the endoscopic disconnection of the hypothalamic hamartomas. The patient underwent endoscopic surgery through the left ventricle approach to disconnect the lesion of the hypothalamus. Immediately after surgery, the patient's clinical laughter was eliminated with no complications. From the initial experience at our center, successful outcome of this case contributes to supporting the solid evidence in choosing the right treatment approach for the hypothalamus in subsequent cases, towards not only Vietnam but also the countries having similar resource-scare conditions.Keywords: hypothalamic hamartomas, gelastic seizure, drug-resistant epilepsy, endoscopic surgical disconnection

Despite the long-term combined treatments, he suffered from chronic urticaria, low-grade fever and bone pain. He was found to have high inflammatory markers, hypogammaglobulinemia, monoclonal IgM – kappa light chain in serum and increased radiotracer uptake in the whole bone scintigraphy. No pathological variants for monogenic autoinflammatory diseases were present in the genome exome sequencing. These investigations confirmed the diagnosis of Schnitzler syndrome, which is an exception before the age of 35. Switching from tocilizumab to interleukin 1 receptor inhibitor, anakinra led to a full clinical response and normalisation of inflammatory markers. Patients with a history of fever and chronic urticaria are routinely tested for monoclonal gammopathy in the context of malignancy, but it should also be considered as a sign of the autoinflammatory syndrome. The Schnitzler syndrome and the adult-onset Still's disease share common features, so the diagnosis requires a thorough investigation to establish an optimal treatment. In the diagnostic algorithm, monoclonal gammopathy is usually considered red flag for malignancy but might be overlooked as a criterion of Schnitzler syndrome, particularly in young adults. We confirm that the interleukin 1 inhibitor should be the first line of therapy in Schnitzler syndrome, and in the presented case we found it more effective than the interleukin 6 blockade. The main goal of this paper is to increase awareness of Schnitzler syndrome among health care professionals.
