Abstract

In dem Vortrag werden einige Thesen zum kulturellen System Europas vorgestellt. Die bevorstehende europäische Integration werde wesentlich auf kulturellem Wege erfolgen, nicht nur wirtschaftliche Interessen und politische Motive dürften im Vordergrund stehen: "Die Regelung von Butterpreisen, Fischfangquoten oder regionalen Ausgleichszahlungen ist aber nicht das Alleinmotiv, das Europa bestimmt." Mit der Formel "Europa als Kulturprozeß" werden unterschiedliche plurale Initiativen beschrieben, die das künftige europäische Geschehen prägen. (psz)
