Abstract

How stable are the foreign politics of the German Grand Coalition? Based on her position as deputy spokeswoman on foreign politics for the SPD (Social Democratic Party Germany), the author of the present article is able to clarify both similarities as well as crucial differences. Using several examples (i.e. Turkey and the EU), the consensus between CDU/CSU and SPD is said to be fragile. Adapted from the source document.
