Abstract

How can cities make the global problem of climate change to an object of local politics and establish action relevance? What mechanisms communicative interaction precede their actions, and thus there may be differences in climate policy measures of various cities be explained? These questions are at the heart of the contribution of Heinelt and Lamping. Using the example of Munich, Frankfurt and Stuttgart to point to five communicative interaction mechanisms and their relevance for the development and consolidation of climate policy strategies and measures.
