Abstract

Der Aufsatz stellt anhand der offiziellen Daten und Statistiken die Wirtschaftsergebnisse der DDR im Jahr 1983 und den Volkswirtschaftsplan für 1984 dar. Er behandelt die Entwicklungen in den einzelnen Wirtschaftsbereichen und erörtert Quellen und Ziele der Wachstumnsentwicklung für 1984. Die Schwerpunkte für die Produktions-, insbesondere die Konsumgüterproduktions-, Entwicklung und die wirtschaftspolitische Orientierung werden dargestellt und die Aussichten ihrer Erfüllung diskutiert.
