Abstract

According to the author, the PRC must focus on collective rights to pursue successful economic and political sources. However, it is not true that China's past holds no trace of the concept of human rights, and thus it does not follow that the notion belongs entirely to the West. He explores Chinese notion of human rights with particular reference to Confucianism, Taoism and Marxism. (DÜI-Sen)
