Jim Schnur on the Johns Committee

Abstract

Schnur, researcher of the Johns Committee, describes the impact of this legislative witch hunt on the newly opened University of South Florida in the early 1960s. He explains how the Committee targeted the University, as well as how the academic and scholarly resources of the USF Libraries assisted him in writing his master's thesis on this topic. Schnur defended his thesis in the fall of 1995.
