Abstract

L'articolo presenta un'analisi multimodale del pamphlet a fumetti Numsa Explains the National Development Plan, prodotto dal sindacato dei metalmeccanici sudafricani (Numsa) per criticare un documento di programmazione finanziaria del governo. Il pamphlet rappresenta il mondo politico come alieno – per aspetto fisico, comportamenti, valori e linguaggio – a quello della classe operaia e configura perciò una War of the Classes. ; The article presents a multimodal analysis of the comic pamphlet Numsa Explains the National Development Plan, produced by the South African metalworkers' union (Numsa) to criticise a financial planning document issued by the government. The pamphlet portrays the political world as alien – in aspects such as physical appearance, behavior, values and language – to the world of the working class thus configuring a "War of the Classes".
