Abstract

El artículo expone las cuatro tesis fundamentales acerca de la identidad cultural latinoamericana. Acudiendo al debate teórico sobre el concepto de identidad cultural, plantea diversos cuestionamientos a las referidas tesis y propone algunos elementos básicos para una interpretación sociológica de la temática. ; This article describes the four fundamental theses of Cultural Identity in Latin America. While looking at the theoretical debate on identity concepts, it brings upon a critique to the four theses, and proposes some elements for reinterpreting the sociological views.
