Abstract

The rebelling dukes Vendome, 1594-1665, Mayenne, d. 1621, and the Marshal de Bouillon, 1555-1623, plead their cause to the King and justify their behavior. They claim that their actions are based on the continued scandalous behavior of the Concinis. The pamphlet also consists of a letter from the King to these nobles.
