Ayurveda defines health as a state of physical, mental, intellectual and spiritual well-being. Nowadays, life has become so erratic that everybody is in hurry and is stressed. This life style has a direct impact on the health especially on the heart. Thus cardiovascular diseases pose an alarming threat to global health. Large number of herbs are mentioned in Ayurveda as Hrida i.e. beneficial for heart. In this study I have discussed about the herbs that are mentioned in Hridya Mahakashya (Group of cardio tonics drugs). Acharya charaka has mentioned the Hridya Mahakashaya in his classification .This is a group of ten drugs i. e. beneficial for heart. All ten drugs are Amla Rasa Pradhana (sour in taste) and rich source of vitamin c. Vitamin c is proved to be a potent antioxidant as well as a good stress buster. The aim of this article is putting forward the brief accounts and probable mode of action of these drugs mentioned in Hridya Mahakashaya.

Maricha (Black pepper) is considered the king of spices throughout the world due to its pungent taste and particular aroma and its medicinal value in day today life. Today, different parts of Maricha and their chemical components are used as drugs, preservatives, insecticidal, and larvacidal agent. Maricha has been used widely in traditional Indian medicine for a very long time. It has been known to Indian cooking since at least 2nd century BC and as a home remedy for relief from sore throat, throat congestion, cough etc. In Ayurvedic classics, it is recommended for various diseases due to Agnimandya (dimnution of digestive fire) such as Grahaniroga (sprue syndrome), Visuchika (cholera), Ajirna (indigestion), Jwara (fever), Arsha roga (piles), Atisara (diorrhoea) etc. The renounced physician of Ayurveda, Maharshi Charaka, in olden period has described it as to be Shulaghana (anticolic/ analgesic), Deepniya (appetizer), Krimighna (vermicidal). Also, he has enumerated it as a Pranvaha srotas rasayan (rejuvenates respiratory system). Thus it is used frequently for the treatment of cough, corhyza, cold, asthma, hoarseness of voice, tuberculosis etc. It is used as a solo drug as well as an essential ingredient of numerous compound formulations and prescriptions of Ayurvedic medicine. Maricha is one of the ingredients of Trikatu. It is beneficial to increase the bioavailability of the drug. The objective of this article is to re-orientate the knowledge and information about Maricha in classical texts. This article highlights synonyms, pharmacodynamics, therapeutic actions and uses, and different formulations of Maricha as described in ancient Ayurvedic literature the Brihat trayi and the later text Nighantus etc.

Earthen hemisphere is gifted with varieties of large number of medicinal herbs. Herbs are natural remedies for the disease with higher safety profile and efficacy. India has an ancient heritage of traditional herbal medicine. Ayurvedic literature has a treasure of medicinal herbs in which Trikatu is very important drug. Trikatu is used as solo drug rarely, but it is an essential ingredient of numerous formulations and prescriptions of Ayurvedic medicine. Trikatu is a poly herbal preparation, It consists of three crude drugs namely maricha (Piper nigrum Linn.), Pippali (Piper longum Linn.) and Shunthi (Zingiber officinalis Rosc) in the ratio of (1:1:1; w:w). Trikatu curna is considered as one of the best drugs to treat the condition of Ama(improperly digested absorbed and improperly metabolised food particles including free radicles) . Trikatu is regarded as the drug of choice in cases of Agnimandya (poor digestion due to faulty digestive process). In Brihattrayi, it is recommended for various diseases due to Agni (digestive fire) vitiation such as Grahaniroga(Malabsorbtion syndrome), Udara roga(major diseases of abdomen surgical and medical like hepatomegaly, spleenomegaly and ascitis ), Arsharoga(piles) etc. The objective of this article is to highlight classification, synonyms, pharmacological actions as described in various diseases, and different formulations of Trikatu in ancient Ayurvedic literature in special reference of Brihattrayi and Nighantus.

The Present manuscript discusses on various scientific aspects of Indian Vedic Agnihotra Vijnan and Mantra therapy. It has been scientifically proven in many recent experiemnts and literature that Homa therapy is much effective in inviting rainy clouds, efficient in disesaes control through inhaling therapy, generates negative ions responsible for happiness, organic homa krishi (farming) is best for humans, boon for mental and physical fitness. The authors' team have tried best to present a series of small experiemnts in support of few of above results and confident enough that gradually this therapy is poular and being accepted globally by one and all. Indian culture and science is scientific and full of components to uplift the human conciousness and ease in life. The present study supports this fact by visualizations and sensor based experiemnts. In 21st century, it is crucial to accept with open minded the good features of this alternate therapy in view of second and third and multiple waves of pandemic caused by sars-cov'19 and other global threats.

In pandemic, the economic crises and health issues have brought the whole human race in unprecedented situation. Pandemic is not a single reason of health crisis, poor air quality is also a great threat for increasing mortality rate in the world. In Nation Capital Region (NCR), India and nearby areas, the time period of months of September to Decemberis very much crucial every year as due to many social, cultural, ecological and known-unknown reasons, the quality of air is degraded below threshold level causing threats to human health and lives. Present manuscript is a trial for analysis of air quality of Indian capital region amidst global pandemic and effect of Ancient Yagya and Homa science on curbing the pollution. It also indicates multiple benefits of Yagya science as well as improvements in result section where mainly pollution analysis is focused. IoT and sensor based instruments were used to collect the data and LSTN and adam optimization were applied to study the effect. It was found a reduction in pollutant particles and improvement in air quality after a week.
