Analiza ispitnog roka i vođenje evidencije o ispitima studenata na Odseku logistike Vojne akademije zahteva mnogo truda i vremena. Postoje pokušaji da se taj proces pojednostavi i automatizuje, ali se oni nisu pokazali dovoljno efikasnim. Ovim projektom omogućeno je da korisnik u mrežnom okruženju ostvari što efikasniji pristup informacijama. ; The analysis of students' achievements and the examination results recording at the Military Academy (Department of Logistics) is a demanding and time-consuming task. Some efforts were put forth to make that process easier but they did not prove to be efficient enough. The main objective of this project is to make a system that will provide more efficient access to the information users need in network environment.
Background/purpose: This paper discusses the application of ABMS - agent-based modelling and simulation in the analysis of customer behaviour on B2C e-commerce websites as well as in the analysis of various business decisions upon the effects of on-line sales. The continuous development and dynamics in the field of e-commerce requires application of advanced decision-making tools. These tools must be able to process, in a short time period, a large amount of data generated by the e-commerce systems and enable the use of acquired data for making quality business decisions. Methodology: The methodology of the agent-based simulation used in this paper may significantly enhance the speed and quality of decision making in electronic trade. The models developed for the needs of this research aim to improve the use of practical tools for the evaluation of the B2C online sales systems in that they allow for an investigation into the outcomes of varied strategies in the e-commerce site management as regards customer behaviour, website visits, scope of sales, income earned, etc. Results: An agent-based simulation model developed for the needs of this research is able to track the interactions of key subjects in online sales: site visitors - prospective consumers, sellers with different business strategies, and suppliers. Conclusion: Simulation model presented in this paper can be used as a tool to ensure a better insight into the problem of consumer behavior on the Internet. Companies engaged in the B2C e-commerce can use simulation results to better understand their consumers, improve market segmentation and business profitability and test their business policies. ; Izhodišče/namen: Članek obravnava uporabo AMB metode modeliranja, ki temelji na uporabi agentov in simulacije, in analizira vedenje kupcev na B2C poslovnih spletnih straneh, kot tudi analizira posledice različnih poslovnih odločitev na prodajo na spletu. Hiter razvoj in dinamika na področju e-poslovanja zahtevata uporabo naprednih orodij odločanja. Ta orodja mora biti sposobna v kratkem časovnem obdobju obdelati velike količine podatkov, pridobljenih s sistemi za e-poslovanje in omogočili uporabo pridobljenih podatkov za pripravo kakovostnih poslovnih odločitev. Metodologija: Uporabili smo metodo simulacije, ki temelji na agentu, kar lahko bistveno poveča hitrost in kakovost odločanja v elektronski trgovini. Modeli so bili razviti za potrebe te raziskave, so namenjeni izboljšanju uporabe praktičnih orodij za oceno B2C spletnih prodajnih sistemov, tako, da omogočajo raziskati posledice različnih strategij v upravljanju e-prodajnega mesta, glede na obnašanje strank, obiske spletnih strani, obseg prodaje, prihodek, itd. Rezultati: Razvili smo simulacijski model, ki temelji na agentu, in omogoča spremljati interakcije ključnih deležnikov v spletni prodaji: obiskovalcev strani - bodočih potrošnikov, prodajalcev z različnimi poslovnimi strategijami in dobaviteljev. Zaključek: Simulacijski model predstavljen v tem prispevku se lahko uporablja kot orodje, da si zagotovimo boljši vpogled v problematiko vedenja potrošnikov na internetu. Podjetja, ki se ukvarjajo s B2C e-poslovanjem, lahko uporabijo rezultate simulacij, da bi bolje razumeli svoje potrošnike, izboljšali tržno segmentacijo in donosnost poslovanja in preverili svojo poslovno politiko.

This paper examines the level of payment for ecosystem services (PES) concept implementation in the financing of water-related forest ecosystem services (ES) in the Republic of Croatia, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FB&H), the Republic of Slovenia, and the Republic of Serbia. The focus is on water-related forest ES recognised by the millennium ecosystem assessment (MEA). For the purpose of this paper, the term pure PES describes schemes that comply to all five conditions set by Wunder definition and term PES like for those schemes that miss some of those conditions. In the first step, the most important legislative documents related to forests, water, and environmental protection were selected. The second consists of a content analysis ; focusing on the definition of ES ; the definition of fees or payments ; the establishment of 'forest funds', 'water funds', or 'environmental funds' ; and the way these funds were spent. Here we looked at the flow of funding into the forestry sector recognising forest management as the main water-related forest ES provider. Research revealed existence of well-established payments schemes in forestry in Croatia for almost 30 years and in FB&H for some 20 years which were assessed as closest to pure PES. In Serbia and Slovenia, there were no PES or PES like schemes in the forestry sector. In the water sector the well-established PES like payments schemes existing in all four countries. The environmental protection sector, however, rely more on the tax like rather than on the PES like schemes. Legislation in general recognised the link between forests and water, but this was much more evident in the forestry than in the water or environment sector. The role of the state is strongly pronounced in all countries studied, and was the main driving force behind all payments. However, this position of the state represents also the main obstacle for the development of pure PES schemes, together with underdeveloped private forestry and complex socio-economic conditions. Nevertheless, there is room for further development of pure PES and PES like schemes based on EU or global experiences.
