After the last quarter of twentieth century, it has become almost impossible not to take into consideration the importance of the contributions of Michel Foucault's legacy, and hence, its impact on various fields of human knowledge, concerning the achievement of a more refined comprehension of current social issues. In educational field, in particular, whether in regard to the analysis of the discursive and non discursive practices that currently take place in schooling and beyond it, or in studies on the subjectivation processes and, still, in investigations on the resonances between education and the political, economic and cultural changes in present times, the fact is that Foucault seems to be more alive than ever.

By briefly describing the events that highlight the emergence of policies of social action and inclusion in Brazil, from the 1930's through the mid- 2010's, this paper presents reflections about the production of a new type of individual who possesses, in the learning processes, the potency to invert the relationship between absolute poverty exclusion for the lack of competence- in/exclusion. Such policies, as they operate as State strategies for the biopolitical government of the population, produce in articulation with other practices what may be considered a subspecies of the Homo oeconomicus, namely, the Homo oeconomicus discentis accessibilis. The digital inclusion is discussed as an important and effective operator for inclusion in Brazil.

Este artigo discute a produtividade de pensar a modernidade pedagógica, a partir da filosofia de Michel Foucault. Compreendendo a pedagogia como um conjunto de saberes e correlatas práticas educacionais, o artigo mostra o caráter contingente das raízes epistêmicas e epistemológicas que sustentam os discursos pedagógicos. A proveniência de tais raízes é localizada no platonismo renascentista e nas tradições judaico-cristãs. A partir dos conceitos de crítica e hipercrítica, o "pensar de outros modos" proposto por Michel Foucault é apontado como uma prática difícil, mas muito importante para a militância política.

RESUMO Este artigo constitui-se em um ensaio teórico em que se propõe uma conversação com base na filosofia da educação objetivando pensar a dimensão formativa da gestão em universidades comunitárias e suas especificidades como uma forma de atuação comprometida com a produção do conhecimento e a criação de outras possibilidades de vida. Para tanto, realizamos um diálogo com o clássico conceito de universidade, fundamentado em um diagnóstico do presente marcado pela racionalidade neoliberal, que reduz a formação humana a um léxico empresarial focado em desempenho rapidamente aplicável. Com isso, propomos uma reflexão sobre a necessidade de pensar o acesso ao ensino superior em um país desigual como o nosso, a educação como bem comum e a vida em uma dimensão mais coletiva e comunitária. Entendemos que a gestão não tem, nesse caso, apenas função administrativo-burocrática; ela assume a dimensão intelectual para pensar os efeitos éticos, estéticos e políticos de suas ações nas regiões de atuação e também de modo mais global.
