Investigation of the main tasks of the International Labor Organization and directions of use of foreign experience in domestic legislation
The article is devoted to the study of the main tasks and directions of the ILO in the conditions of rapid development and changes in economic relations, which requires more careful regulation and adaptation of international labor standards, standards, which are covered in the ILO Conventions to the national legislation. The structure, basic principles, subject matter and directions of the ILO's rulemaking activity are described. The fundamental ILO Conventions are analyzed in the areas of: the right to work, regulation of wages, illegal dismissal, equality of labor rights, etc. Comparison of some ILO Conventions on major topics ratified by countries around the world, as well as promising Conventions for Ukraine to adopt. Priority conventions for ratification by Ukraine are proposed, which will improve the situation in society and in the labor market
