; The dynamics and nature of the relationship between ethno-cultural and other public organizations of Armenian-Americans in the 1960s-1990s is considered. Their appearance was dictated by the necessity of self-organization of the U.S. Armenian diaspora. The paper disclosed the content of political, religious, charitable, educational, professional and cultural associations, as well as humanitarian groups and private sponsorship funds of the Armenian community in the United States. The dynamics of relations between Armenian organizations happened within the boundaries of the seven broad clusters. Armenian General Benevolent Union and the Liberal Democratic Party "Ramkavar-Azatakan" cooperated with the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the United States and the Armenian Assembly of America. Armenian Revolutionary Federation "Dashnagcutun" and the Armenian National Committee of America had close ties with the Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the United States. There were also clusters: organization close to the Social Democratic Party Gnchak; Armenian Protestant community; Armenian Catholic community; professional and cultural organizations; humanitarian groups and private foundations. All of these clusters, the formation of which was associated with the activities of the Armenian political parties, institutionalized internal heterogeneity of the U.S. Armenian diaspora. Nevertheless, the existence of national ideas and interests united the Armenian groups, making possible a dialogue between them, aided by the activities of the Armenian diaspora elite in the United States. It is shown that it is the activities of intellectuals led to gipermobilized Armenian resources, and, in spite of the contradictions between the various Armenian structures, each of them drew a certain part of the Armenian population, thereby becoming the factors slowing down the process of assimilation of the Armenian-American population.
