Trabajo doméstico y mujer rural: …ésta vida mía

Abstract

Se procura esbozar la relación existente entre el desarrollo de las actividades de trabajo doméstico y de cuidado, y los tiempos empleados en los mismos, realizados por las mujeres habitantes de la vereda Santa Bárbara, Localidad de Ciudad Bolívar en el municipio de Bogotá D.C., y los roles asumidos por ellas en las distintas etapas del ciclo vital, como elementos contributivos a la construcción de la identidad de género y la transformación de los proyectos de vida femeninos. Para ello se realizaron entrevistas a 7 mujeres y se aplicaron modelos de Encuesta de Uso del Tiempo a 12 mujeres. Este documento permite evidenciar a la vez, algunos de los innumerables dilemas y conflictos que surgen para el/la investigador/a social, ya sea por el ejercicio mismo de auscultar la realidad social, los debates sobre la utilidad social y política de este tipo de estudios, o los fantasmas personales que suelen retornar a la vida cuando se exploran ciertos temas, entre otros. ; It attempt to present the existing relation between the development of domestic work and care activities, and the time spend on them, developed by women living in the Santa Barbara borough, locality of Ciudad Bolivar in the Municipality of Bogota Capital District , and roles assumed by them in the different stages of the vital cycle, as contributory elements to the construction of the identity of gender and the transformation of female life projects. For this, were conducted interviews to 7 women and were applied survey models of use of time to 12 women. This document makes evident at once, some of the many dilemmas and conflicts that arise for the social researcher , either by the exercise of auscultate the social reality, the debates about the social utility and politics of this type of studies, or the personal ghosts that tend to return to life when some issues are explored, among others. ; Maestría
