The term personal status, a new term, that is, the civil rights and private international law today, is used, and the Jurisprudence texts never before. Personal status, it is the most important part of civil rights but because of civil rights, the personal circumstances of the two parts concrete is divided. Abstract
Amid an enduring political deadlock in Parliament, the first civil marriage contracted in Lebanon in 2013 received significant media coverage in a country where the personal status law of eighteen recognized religious sects governs marriage. This case study examines the debate on civil marriage reform and the implications for women's rights in Lebanon. For advocates, the recognition of civil marriage legalizes interreligious marriages, strengthens secular citizenship, shifts the jurisdiction of marriage from religious to civil law, and ensures women's rights. Opponents, meanwhile, fear the loss of religious autonomy, the transformation of self-identification in Lebanon from sect to nation, and the destabilization of the confessional system. To date, civil marriage reform has been incremental, given clerical and social opposition, but the winds of change are blowing as couples increasingly take matters into their own hands to reform Lebanon's system of personal status from the ground up.

Personal Status Laws were the subject of a round table discussion held at the Institute for Women's Studies in the Arab World in January 2005. The participants were Dr. Bechir Bilani, Attorney at law, Mohammad Matar, Attorney at law, Ahmad El-Zein, Attorney at law, Judge Arlette Juraysati, and Dr. Ibrahim Najjar. The legal status of the foreigner has always been of particular interest, as it has been found over time that the rights that a natural or legal person may have in a foreign country have particular consequences. Part of the population of a country other than the one in which he is located or lives, the foreigner who does not have Romanian citizenship, but who is found on the territory of a state, may have the status of stateless, refugee or displaced person. The foreigner's legal condition contains all the legal norms that regulate the legal acts and deeds of foreigners, natural or legal persons. The legal norms that regulate this matter are material norms that belong to Romanian law and, as such, the legal condition of the foreigner is subject to Romanian law, as the law of the forum, respectively as the law of the place where the foreigner is found. The sufficiently rich Romanian legislation that regulates the field took into account the particular nature of social relations, aiming to be as close as possible to concrete situations. The current trend, contained mainly in the provisions of the Civil Code that "liberalizes" the possibility of applying a different rule of law than the classical one, we consider to be a step forward and is in line with the obvious progress of the science of conflict law, also resulting from its historical evolution. The foreigner's legal status is made up of the set of rights and obligations they enjoy based on state legislation and according to international conventions. This means, concretely, the set of legal rules that regulate the foreigner's ability to use, i.e. the rights and obligations he has in a state as a foreigner. We emphasize that, also in the case of the legal person, the legal condition of the foreigner can be used, this being "that collective subject of law, holder of rights and obligations, whose personal status is governed by its national law".

Durant la période des années 1200-1500, la mobilité dans l'échelle sociale javanaise s'explique par une richesse nouvelle et des opportunités de distinction de statut. La cour encouragea l'élite des communautés rurales à se penser comme partie d'un ordre royal hiérarchique basé sur les lignées et à participer à la vénération des ancêtres du roi. Une personne pouvait prendre place dans le réseau rituel royal et profiter d'une amélioration de son statut personnel en recevant un nouveau titre. Elle se soumettait ainsi au pouvoir du roi, de ses ancêtres et des dieux indiens avec lesquels ils se confondaient. Des familles étaient encouragées à rechercher richesse et statut et à développer la conscience du lignage, ce qui eut pour effet de donner un essor aux activités rurales. Les profits de l'économie rizicole javanaise largement excédentaires aux XIVe et XVe siècles permit à l'élite et aux aspirants à celle-ci (en compétition avec la vieille élite pour ses privilèges) de participer dans tout le royaume aux fêtes et célébrations fastueuses qui culminaient dans les cérémonies de cour dans lesquelles elle faisait montre de son succès matériel. En théorie, le roi contrôlait toutes les forces affectant la prospérité terrestre ainsi que le salut éternel, ce qui lui permettait d'incorporer ses sujets terrestres dans la société centrée sur la cour de Majapahit.

This research treats a very important part of the new Jordanian personal status law concerning splitting based on defects in comparison with the old Jordanian personal status law, showing the views of jurists and their evidence, this is done by following academic methods such as descriptive and analytical approach. The research reached the conclusion that the new law has widen its selection base to be the four schools of Islamic jurisprudence with consideration of development of time, people, difference of time and place, and the impact they have on changing legislative rulings in order to adjust them to reality and peoples conditions and the development in fields of medicine and communication
