; Senior rabbi Dr. Simon Guttmann believes that the question of war and peace has occupied one of the most important places in the world's cultural history since the earliest times. The essence of the question is what is war? Is war an inseparable part of human life, or is such a state of humanity possible, in which the possibility of war would be completely ruled out. This topic was approached from a philosophical, political, and ethical point of view. In his text on the "Origin of the Thought of Peace," Dr. Guttmann discusses the Jewish moral view of the world based on biblical stories and laws and on literary teachings after the Bible. Through the analysis of the thought and spirit of peace, of prophetic and poetic literature, and then of literature after the Bible, the author believes that the Bible is a book of humanity whose teachings on the pursuit of peace should permeate all humanity. As a result of the research so far, he emphasizes that the thought of peace is the leading thought of the Bible and religious literature after the Bible

; The main thesis of this work is that the emergence and social-historical formation of Christian identity in the first two centuries CE was inherently linked to ethnic, religious and political antagonisms. This conflict was manifested at several different levels of the relationship between early Christian communities and the coeval religious and political actors in a divergent social-historical landscape of the Roman Empire. The conflicts existed from the very outset: firstly, within the young Jesus movement (nascent Christianity) during its formative process; then in this movement's relationship with formative Judaism; finally, with the political establishment of the Roman Empire that treated Christianity as an extremely heterodox, adversary religion, exposed to occasional systematic persecutions. It is apparent that the social and ethnic identities are constructed and transformed both within communities themselves and in relation to their external social environments. Within that complex network of antagonisms and loosely defined initial boundaries, an entirely novel, transnational and multiethnic, Christian identity had been developed, becoming eventually a major and dominant world religion. In this paper, ...

This article follows the development of religious anti-Judaism and anti-Zionism within Arab Muslim society in the twentieth century. Using the method of historical examination starts from the view that Muslim religious antagonism toward the Jewish political enterprise in Palestine did not exist prior to World War I. Only after Haj Amin al-Husseini became the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was the early Islamic perception of Jews as religiously unfit for political rule introduced as a major issue in Muslim-Jewish relations. This article expounds on how the Mufti combined Islamic canonical anti-Judaism with Christian medieval folklore, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, and European anti-Semitism. Thus was introduced the notion of the Jew despised and cursed by Allah, yet powerful enough to defy Allah's will of making that curse evident through his political, social, and economic humiliation. The pamphlet Islam and Judaism published in 1943 for an unorthodox Bosnian Muslim community has been used to demonstrate the Mufti's aberration from traditional Islamic views on Jews and the development of an eclectic anti-Judaism that today exists in many parts of the Muslim world.

; Senior rabbi Dr. Rudolf Glück in his work analyzes the influences that Jews had among the majority and other peoples in the Roman, Greek, and Egyptian ancient periods. The introductory analysis describes the ways in which these states treated Jews. Among other things, he cites the cruel example of the Syrian king Antiochus Epiphanes, who persecuted the Jews and forced them to worship the Hellenic gods. Part of the paper is dedicated to the analysis of the influence of Judaism on famous people of that time - Plato, Pythagoras, Heraclitus, Philo, and Zeno. Comparing the relationship of the Jewish and Christian faiths to polytheism, Dr. Glück analyzes the reasons for the conversion to Judaism. After an exhaustive analysis, he concludes that, although the Greeks achieved the most in the development of free thought, science, and art, the Romans in creating a political and legal order, the historical role of the Jews is shown in preserving the divine revelation entrusted to them. God gave the Jews religious, liturgical, and political legislation sent him prophets, teachers, and liberators. God chose Jewish people to protect them from idolatry and to be an example to the pagan world.
