Starting from 1978, the Ministry of Health in Italy has the duty to compile a report on the implementation of the law for the protection of maternity and for the voluntary termination of pregnancy (Law n. 194, paragraph 6, May 22nd 1978) to the Parliament every year. The report is generally referred to as "Relazione del Ministro della salute sulla attuazione della legge contenente norme per la tutela sociale della maternità e per l'interruzione volontaria di gravidanza - Legge 194/7".



These reports contain regional-level information on the number of abortions, the characteristics of the women seeking abortion and the medical technicalities of the procedures, information on the number of centers for family planning and health available, and the number of medical doctors who refuse to perform abortions due to moral concerns.



The provided data set compiles information from the reports for the different Italian regions for the years 1978 to 2017. It is suitable to study the regional variation over time in the availability of family planning centers and trends in conscientious objection in Italy.

Family centers have emerged as a focal point of considerable interest for those looking for alternatives to highly bureaucratic and residual approaches to child welfare programs and services. These centers are seen to incorporate the best elements of ecological and strengths-based family practice, bringing together professional and community members in a supportive, inclusive, and nonstigmatizing environment. However, much of the research on family centers is grounded in urban neighborhoods or has failed to distinguish between urban and rural contexts. This paper presents results from an exploratory study that highlighted issues relevant to the establishment and operation of family centers in rural communities. Implications for policy makers and planners, as well as rural family and child welfare practitioners, are discussed.

Abstract
Earthquakes, known for their widespread devastation, annually inflict catastrophic consequences globally. Swift and well-structured healthcare responses following earthquakes are pivotal in reducing their impact and mitigating loss of life. However, achieving this demands proactive strategic planning and effective preparedness before disaster strikes. While countries craft disaster response plans, their implementation often proves inadequate in managing the ensuing crisis comprehensively. This study proposes a paradigm shift by advocating for the utilization of widely accessible Family Health Centers (FHCs) as crucial hubs for post-earthquake healthcare continuity. Focused on these community-centric health units, our research delineates a strategic blueprint ensuring uninterrupted health services post an Istanbul earthquake. Integrating SWOT analysis, balanced scorecard, and operations research, this study holistically assesses the current landscape of FHCs and identifies imperative post-earthquake requisites. Insights gleaned from extensive literature review and expert consultations underpin this multifaceted approach.

After a brief outline of the macro- and micro-model approaches to shopping, a perception and spatial behavior model is selected as a framework for the research study. The study aims to identify the variables constituting the mental image of a consumer's shopping environment and which of these variables are considered important in spatial choice. Statistically significant differences in the preferences of shoppers are found based on the type of township the shopper lives in, the purpose of the shopping trip, and the shopper's income group. Patterns of variation on consumer attitudes as to the perceived importance of various attributes are also established. The implications of the findings for the planning of shopping centers include the noting of the complexity of consumers' images of their shopping environment, and the relatively small part that variables which can be manipulated by planners play in consumer spatial choice.

The Lebanese Family Planning Organization held its fourth conference on «The Image of Women in the Media» to assess and evaluate the conditions of women in Lebanon. Among the participants were fifty delegates representing women's groups, federations, social and health centers, as well as members of the association.
