International audience ; Organ donation: are we recyclable? In France in 2016, legislation on the modalities of refusal of postmortem organ donation is undergoing evolution and the Agence de biomédecine is mandated to inform the population on the new modalities of refusal expression as part of national information campaigns. At the same period, a departemental coordination team for organ and tissue removal initiated a local communication campaign, out of step with the national communication. This local campaign was designed on a voluntary basis by a communication agency, and its media deployment was financed by a sponsorship system. The campaign featured a naked man or woman challenging the audience with the slogan : "I am recyclable, what about you ! ». The parallel between organ donation and the recyclability of the body elicited mixed reactions. Some praised the innovative and appealing aspect of the campaign, while others, more critical, rejected the possible assimilation of the body to waste.
