The author believes that the recent literary scene in Taiwan has been so dazzlingly varied that any attempt to sum it up succeeds only in seizing certain aspects at the expense of others. The article examines the significant changes in the island's literary scene in the 1980s. Its purpose is to show how the cultural/literary scope widened in Taiwan during the 1980s, especially in the post-martial law era, and how this has provoked arguments on the politics of representation, and the treatment of literary products as consumer goods. According to the author, the last decade has witnessed a phenomenal boom in mainland Chinese literature. The flourishing of literature in the "new era" resulted in epoch-making reforms in literary production which have been conducive to a dramatic literary revival after the Anti-Rightist Movement of 1957 and the Cultural Revolution (1966-76). He examines the monumental development of literature - chiefly fiction because of its spectacular output in the new era. (DÜI-Sen)
This study investigates how collaboration between design research and technological philosophy can benefit both fields. More emphasis must be placed on the quality and quantity of philosophical education and its application within the framework of "workmanship philosophy," given the available tools for artistic expression. In expressions instruction, several tactics and approaches should be utilized, and students should be capable of analyzing and comprehending works of art using a variety of approaches. Is it required to utilize philosophical terminology in the illustration of handicraft philosophy? Is it feasible, on the other hand, that philosophical terminology provides a vulnerability for these problems to be examined and multiple answers to be found? Nonetheless, we must be interested in Plato's discourse and the significance of Aristotle's poetics to create even more appealing statements. Instead of emphasizing a complete education in philosophy, art students must learn and comprehend the properties of knowledge that form the foundation of philosophy. This assists in determining the placement and significance of philosophy in speech. Based on three contextual studies employing technology philosophy hypotheses and methodologies in a planning setting, we will explain how these businesses profited from a more reflective viewpoint. Aside from contemplating and debating, one may argue that the Philosophy of Technology is still functioning. As well as technology philosophy with the mind, there is also technology philosophy with the hands. About the prior experimental shift in Philosophy of Technology, we refer to this partnership as the "Useful Approach in Philosophy of Technology." Based on three contextual studies using technology philosophy hypotheses and methods in a planning environment, we will explain how these companies benefited from a more reflective perspective. Other than thinking and discussing, one may claim that the Philosophy of Technology is still active. Technology philosophy with the head, as well as technology philosophy with the hands As a result, we refer to this collaboration as the 'Useful Approach in Philosophy of Technology,' in reference to the preceding experimental turn in Philosophy of Technology.
The majority of Taiwanese expatriates in Singapore are working in male-dominated sectors such as high-tech industries. It is common for Taiwanese male expatriates to choose to bring their family members along to the host country. In order to accompany their husbands to Singapore, these expatriate wives must give up their careers in Taiwan. Some of them become stay-at-home wives while others seek to rebuild their careers in Singapore. This study investigates how Taiwanese expatriate wives juggle their work and family commitments and identifies how they negotiate gender-role expectations relating to both family and work. The results show that this group of highly qualified Taiwanese women who have a history of strong professional achievement and have levels of human capital similar to their husbands still have not managed to break the shackles of traditional gender roles. Instead of advancing their own careers, they are expected to put their husbands' careers first.

With the extensive development of the economy, environmental degradation has become a serious global issue. How to ensure the sustainable development of regional environments has drawn widespread attention from governments, academia, and the public. As an index to measure the efficiency of financial expenditure on the environment by local governments, the assets and environmental liabilities conversion rate (AELCR), along with the spatial pattern changes it presents and the factors it is affected by, is worthy of in-depth study. This study took the AELCRs of 31 provinces in China from 2012 to 2017 as the research objects, analyzed their spatial patterns and evolution using GeoDa software, and explored their spatial distribution using a spatial econometric model. The results show that, on the whole, China's provinces were characterized by unbalanced economic development and large gaps in development levels, and there were significant differences in the efficiencies of fiscal expenditure for environmental protection between regions. Overall, there was a negative correlation between China's neighboring provinces, and there was strong heterogeneity between provinces with a low conversion efficiency and the surrounding provinces. Locally, most provinces did not show significant spatial correlation, while the local similarities of the AELCRs decreased from 2012 to 2017, and the heterogeneities increased. Through the analysis of influencing factors, it was found that the urbanization level and provincial R& ; D investment positively increased the AELCRs, where the positive impact of urbanization was more obvious ; resource tax and urban infrastructure investment were negatively correlated with the conversion rates, and the negative impact of resource tax was greater. The findings of this study provide important theoretical and practical implications for local governments to reasonably allocate environmental expenditure and improve their conversion rate of assets and environmental liabilities.
Understanding user behaviors is the foundation to support the design and development of a sustainably built environment. This exploratory study used a mixed method to explore people&rsquo ; s perception, motivation, intention, and behaviors of green tourism in Taiwan. The qualitative approach explored intrinsic and extrinsic factors that could influence people&rsquo ; s intention to participate in green tourism. The quantitative approach provided evidence of influencing factors of green tourism. The findings suggested that variables, such as perception, attitudes, and self-efficacy, can indirectly influence green tourism behaviors through behavioral intention. This study suggests that government agencies should emphasize environmental education regarding the relationship between climate change and people&rsquo ; s life ; therefore, people will increase their environmental awareness regarding the urgent conditions of the environment, in addition to supporting green tourism and being more responsible for their tourism behaviors. For cities intending to accommodate tourism or Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) that are interested in promoting green tourism, it is critical to incorporate relevant factors, such as destination services and educational elements, into the design and development principles to built environment that supports green tourism activities.
