Postrevolutionary mobilization in China: The one-child policy reconsidered
In: World politics: a quarterly journal of international relations, Band 43, Heft 1, S. 53-76
ISSN: 0043-8871
The author uses the post-Mao Chinese experience and a case study of China's one-child policy to argue that variant forms of mobilization have remained an integral part of the post-revolutionary Chinese political process as the Deng regime attempts to rapidly and fundamentally rearrange the institutions and routines of Maoist China, while preserving a Leninist political order.
