The paper is related to the history of the province of Guantanamo, specifically to the Mausoleum of the Mambi Troops. This work is the result of several investigations related to the patriotic, military and international education of students and workers at the University of Pedagogical Sciences "Raúl Gómez García." It deals with the historical events occurred on February 24th, 1895 in La Confianza, and it also provides a description of the historical relics of the War of Independence treasured in the Mausoleum. ; El material está relacionado con la historia de la provincia Guantánamo, específicamente el mausoleo al mambisado, y es resultado de varias investigaciones relacionadas por parte de estudiantes y trabajadores de la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas "Raúl Gómez García". Aparecen los hechos históricos acontecidos el 24 de febrero de 1895 en La Confianza, con una descripción de las reliquias históricas sobre la guerra de independencia.
