El desarrollo de las competencias en la lectura y escritura desde la educación ambiental, es una propuesta que se inscribe en los marcos de la legislación educativa colombiana: la Ley General de Educación y el Decreto 1860, que orientan el currículo hacia la transversalidad de diferentes temas, de interés particular-global; teniendo en cuenta la pertinencia de los elementos que ofrece el contexto en el escenario donde se implementa esta propuesta, se fundamenta en la reflexión sobre el proceso del desarrollo de las competencias en lectura y escritura, asumiendo la educación ambiental como eje transversal en el área de lenguaje; ello, por medio de los proyectos de aula, como un camino de integración curricular. El proyecto se implementó en el grado octavo, en la Institución Educativa Latorre Gómez, de El Retorno, Guaviare, Colombia. ; Abstract. The development of the competences in the reading and writing from the environmental education. The competences for the reading and the writing with the environmental education, it is a proposal that registers from the parameters of the educational Colombian legislation: The Ley General de la Educación and the Decreto 1860 that lead the curriculum toward the transversally of different topics that are of particular and global interest; also keeping in mind the relevancy of the elements that offers the context of the scenario where this proposal is implemented. This work is based in the reflection on the process of the development of the reading abilities through the particular, general and global interests and topics of the environmental education as traverse axis in the language area; by means of the classroom projects as a way to curricular integration. The use of a newly validated Extreme Experiences Scale ( EX2) seems appropriate to classify victims, ex-combatants, and civilians for their mental health assessment. Methods: Here, we propose a novel approach to identify relationships between individuals classified with different levels of ACE exposure—independent of their legal role in the armed conflict, and mental health outcomes. According to the cut-off points derived from the scores of EX2, we classified the sample in low and high exposure to ACE. Results: The high-level ACE group (scores > 2.5) included 119 subjects, and the low-level ACE was constituted by 66 subjects. Our results evidence that people with high exposure to ACE experiment higher odds to present anxiety disorders, risk of suicide, or post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as increased cognitive empathy (i.e., fantasy dimension). Conclusion: These findings allowed us to identify the influence of ACE on mental health outcomes beyond the conventional frame (victim or ex-combatant), and to discuss effective interventions and implementation of mental health strategies in these communities. [EN] The development of three-dimensional environments to mimic the in vivo cellular response is a problem in the building of disease models. This study aimed to synthesize and validate three-dimensional support for culturing monoclonal plasma cells (mPCs) as a disease model for multiple myeloma. The three-dimensional environment is a biomimetic microgel formed by alginate microspheres and produced on a microfluidic device whose surface has been functionalized by a layer-by-layer process with components of the bone marrow's extracellular matrix, which will interact with mPC. As a proof of concept, RPMI 8226 cell line cells were cultured in our 3D culture platform. We proved that hyaluronic acid significantly increased cell proliferation and corroborated its role in inducing resistance to dexamethasone. Despite collagen type I having no effect on proliferation, it generated significant resistance to dexamethasone. Additionally, it was evidenced that both biomolecules were unable to induce resistance to bortezomib. These results validate the functionalized microgels as a 3D culture system that emulates the interaction between tumoral cells and the bone marrow extracellular matrix.
