Generally this research consists of four parts, research background, risk identification, risk assessment and risk control suggestions. Research background consists of research introduction, author background and literature reviews on key concepts and theories, and risk formulation mechanisms. Risk identification is the first and important step of enterprise risk management. In this research, brainstorm, expert interview, RBS and literature review methods will be used together to identify the risk in Chinese air cargo industry. From theory perspective, it will explain why it chooses these methods and implements the methods comparison. Through the interview, survey with experts, two layers of risk factors have been founded. For the risk assessment methods, there are mainly about 14 independent risk assessment methods are discussed, as strategic scanning, worst-case analysis and so on. For the risk assessment of Chinese air cargo industry, ANP is a scientific, reasonable and practical method. Experts' judgment and suggestion are indispensable and complementary in risk assessment, including ANP method. Because of the practice of risk identification, the author has a close relationship with most of the experts within Chinese air cargo industry. 20 experts were chosen as the interviewees. Based on the 17 valid questionnaires and Superdecision software, risk assessment process produced all priorities for all the risk factors. According the result, 19 risks are classified into three categories, red, yellow and white risks. For each kind of risks, all the participants can make risk counter decisions according to the assessment result. Risk assessment is not the end for risk management for Chinese air cargo industry, the purpose of the risk assessment is to support the decision making and bring inferences. In China, the Ecargo is one practice of ACSCEP which is proposed by China government. In all, ACSCEP can solve many Chinese air cargo risks. As an expert and member of Ecargo platform, I proposed that Ecargo is a good risk counter measures.

Political Relations and Finance
This thesis consists of three studies that investigate how important political relations are in finance. In the first study, I find that poor bilateral political relations between the US and other countries negatively influence US media dissemination toward non-US firms with American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). I also show that US media negativity has downward pressure on ADR firms' home market prices and such negative impact is reduced during the year when political relations are poor—an indication that investors react to real media bias. I conclude the first study by showing that negative US media coverage leads to a higher likelihood of ADR firms terminating their ADRs. The second study finds strong empirical evidence showing that when bilateral political relations between a country and the US are poor, the level of US institutional ownership and the number of institutional investors are low for American Depositary Receipt (ADR) firms from that country. In addition, the second study discusses whether a country's popularity among Americans and an international crisis influence the level of US institutional ownership. Furthermore, following the previous literature, I show empirically that a high level of US institutional ownership promotes better corporate governance; to do so, I look at firm value, class action lawsuits and voluntary disclosure news. The third study considers whether bilateral political relations affect the board structure of S&P 1500 companies—specifically the proportion of foreign independent directors (FIDs). I find strong empirical evidence that when bilateral political relations between a country and the US are poor, the proportion of FIDs from that country hired by US firms is small. The threat of a firm losing technology and insider information to countries with poor political relations are considered costs by US firms, so when firms do hire FIDs from countries that have poor political relations with the US, I empirically show that the benefits are greater than the costs. I conclude ...

RSMT: A Remote Sensing Image-to-Map Translation Model via Adversarial Deep Transfer Learning
Maps can help governments in infrastructure development and emergency rescue operations around the world. Using adversarial learning to generate maps from remote sensing images is an emerging field. As we now know, the urban construction styles of different cities are diverse. The current translation methods for remote sensing image-to-map tasks only work on the specific regions with similar styles and structures to the training set and perform poorly on previously unseen areas. We argue that this greatly limits their use. In this work, we intend to seek a remote sensing image-to-map translation model that approaches the challenge of generating maps for the remote sensing images of unseen areas. Our remote sensing image-to-map translation model (RSMT) achieves universal and general applicability to generate maps over multiple regions by combining adversarial deep transfer training schemes with novel attention-based network designs. Extracting the content and style latent features from remote sensing images and a series of maps, respectively, RSMT generalizes a pattern applied to the remote sensing images of new areas. Meanwhile, we introduce feature map loss and map consistency loss to reinforce generated maps' precision and geometry similarity. We critically analyze qualitative and quantitative results using widely adopted evaluation metrics through extensive validation and comparisons with previous remote sensing image-to-map approaches. The results of experiment indicate that RSMT can translate remote sensing images to maps better than several state-of-the-art methods.

Voice behavior and creative performance moderated by stressors
In: Journal of managerial psychology, Band 32, Heft 2, S. 177-192
ISSN: 1758-7778
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to test the moderating role of work-related stressors on the relationship between voice behavior and the voicer's creative performance.Design/methodology/approachThe sample comprised 781 full-time employees from 16 companies covering six industries in the central region of China. Hierarchical moderated regression analyses were used to test the hypotheses.FindingsResults showed that voice behavior had significant positive effect on creative performance. The positive relationship between voice behavior and creative performance was stronger for employees with low challenge stressors as well as for employees with high hindrance stressors.Research limitations/implicationsThis study employs a cross-sectional design with data collected from the same source.Practical implicationsThe findings suggest that employees should be encouraged to voice out their opinions and ideas. Work-related stressors should be treated differently to expand the effects of voice behavior on creative performance.Originality/valueThis study is one of the few to establish boundary conditions from the contextual perspective on the effect of voice behavior on employee performance. Considering whether work-related stressor is a challenge or a hindrance could possibly result in a better understanding of the role of work-related stressors in the voice behavior-creative performance relationship. An empirical evidence is provided for the positive relationship between voice behavior and employee performance outcomes.
