Puritan ideas and ethics are not only the cradle of the mainstream political culture in America, but also the ideological source of the African American political culture. However, what was the significance of puritanism for the emergence of early political ideas among black American? To answer the question, it is necessary to delve into the meaning of puritanism to the political culture of the black American. This paper will elaborate on the crucial role of puritanism in the formation of black political culture in America from three aspects, that is, establishing a close relationship between puritanism and African American political culture. In order to understand it profoundly, three relationships will be established and explained. Respectively, the first one is to establish the relationship between Puritan idea especially the concept of equality and African American political idea; the second one is to establish the relationship between Puritan life and African American political elites; the third one is to establish the relationship between Puritan ethical spirits and moral norms and African American self-consciousness. More specifically, First of all, the germination of the early political ideas of African American was based on Puritan ideas; Secondly, Puritan life was the cradle of the growth of black political elites; Finally, the Puritan ethical spirit, such as diligence and frugality, diligence and hard work, tidiness and cleanliness, decent behavior and other basic behavioral norms, had a deep influence on the cultivation of the moral behavior norms and the formation of self-consciousness of African American.

At present, the academic circles at home and abroad are locked in a binary judgment on Booker T. Washington. Generally, Booker T. Washington has also been being in the comments with two different faces in the field of the academic circle. Some scholars believed that Booker T. Washington was the one who pushed the black rights movement to the rock bottom. While, other scholars believed that his political thoughts appeared to be a kind of special product of a specific historical period. To get out of this dual trap, I believe that Booker T. Washington is absolutely not an accomplice of white racism, or just only a great black political leader having the tinge of a cult of personality; instead, from my perspective of view, he is a liberal fighter with black skin outside and white soul inside. Actually, behind Booker T. Washington's political thought, there has been lying a set of deep-rooted liberal logic which makes him a liberal at any time. We have to say that it is an immutable truth which is the appearance and ending of each historical figure is the epitome of that era; and, the formation and development of his or her thoughts doom not to be isolated from the enormous influence of social mainstream culture. More specifically, the American paradox of liberalism, the self-concept of liberalism, and the discourse hegemony of liberalism all profoundly influenced the formation and development of Booker T. Washington's political thought, and all those have been defending such an ambitious black boy vigorously as an out-and-out liberal.

The introduction of Internet technology had a significant impact on consumers' daily activities, and many previously offline activities have now migrated to the online world. In other words, internet retail purchasing has grown in popularity and become an important aspect of consumer life. The convenience of internet purchasing has made it a popular trend among customers, particularly among Gen-Y and Gen-Z. In Malaysia, the expanding use of the internet and online shopping gives a great opportunity in the e-commerce business, particularly online buying. Consumers' choices have grown substantially as a result of technological advancements, and having access to information via the internet makes purchasing selections easier. This research paper studied the five factors impacting customers' online purchasing intention which include customer satisfaction, perceived trust, perceived risk, perceived usefulness, and online purchase experience among Gen-Y and Gen-Z in Malaysia. To examine the relationship proposed in the framework, the questionnaires were distributed with a focus on youths aged 15 to 40 as the target demographics. The statistical analyses were then conducted on the 190 collected responses with the aid of SPSS. The findings demonstrated that customer satisfaction and online purchase experience were significant predictors of customers' online purchase intention, while perceived trust, perceived usefulness, and perceived risk were insignificant predictors.
