This research is intended to describe the implementation of animal livestock control in Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala Regency. This research was descriptive-qualitative research. The data collection was done through observation, interview, and documentation. The sample of this research was 7 informants selected purposively. The result of research showed that The Implementation of Animal Livestock Control Policy in Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala Regency is not optimum yet, because of several aspects influence it, i.e. 1) The objective and the purpose of Animal Livestock Control Policy in Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala Regency have been already good. 2) the resources for implementing Animal Livestock Control Policy in Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala Regency have not been good. 3) The activity of The Implementation of Animal Livestock Control Policy in Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala Regency has not been good yet. 4) The characteristics of the implementer in The Implementation of Animal Livestock Control Policy in Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala Regency have not been good yet. 5) The economic, social and political condition in implementation Animal Livestock Control Policy in Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala Regency has been already good. 6) The disposition in implementation Animal Livestock Control Policy in Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala Regency has not been good.

Southeast Asian landscapes have been shifting from natural landscapes to the modified landscapes at a rate faster than ever. Ecological integrity is under tremendous pressure due to the anthropogenic developmental activities. Little attention, however, has been paid to identify the major underlying causes of this rapid landscape transformation. This article discusses these issues from the point of view of a landscape ecologist. Landsat TM 30 m satellite images of 1988, 1996, and Landsat ETM+ 30 m image of 2005 were classified using ERDAS Imagine 9.2. Vector-based Landscape Analysis Tools Extension software was used in analyzing landscape patterns. Landscape size and shape metrics have revealed that the main transformation occurred in the first period (between the years 1988 and 1996) which was due to the rapid extension of the commercial agriculture. However, in the second period (between the year 1996 and 2005), the main driver of rapid landscape transformation occurred due to the expansion of urban areas, transportation networks, housing, and township. The pace of developmental activities breaks all previous records at a faster rate in the second period as compared with the first. These findings will provide necessary information about the driving forces which have a potential use for sustainable management decision processes. Additionally, results and data on landscape patterns may help scientists, academics, and researchers in further study. They can also be of potential use for the sustainable management of natural resources, urban planning, and livable green cities.

Identification of Leading Forest Commodities in Supporting 'Batik' Wood Creative Industry in Gunungkidul Regency The forestry sector is one of the sectors that has a role in increasing revenue in Gunungkidul Regency, contributing more than a quarter of the regency's GRDP with main commodities of mahogany, acacia, and sengon. With a forest area of 56,592 Ha, it is possible for Gunungkidul Regency to produce large amounts of wood. Wood produced in Gunungkidul Regency are processed into wood-derived products in the form of wooden batik handicrafts, with an average annual turnover of Rp 4,134,801,000.00. This study aims to identify leading commodities using Location Quotient method and to provide land suitability factor for forestry commodities as batik wood industry raw material. Secondary data and primary data are used in this study. Secondary data were obtained through data collection from related institutions, such as the Office of Cooperatives and SMEs of Gunungkidul Regency and Gunungkidul Regency in Figures, Meanwhile, primary data were sourced from interviews. From the results of the study, it was concluded that mahogany and acacia are leading commodities compared to sengon. The implications of this research are expected to be input for the formulation of local government strategies, as well as for batik wood craft producers concentrated at Patuk District in developing the creative economy sector using raw material from Gunungkidul Regency.

Industry 4.0 has been viewed as an emerging industrial arena where innovative technologies are uniting to endow with digital surprises. In connecting to the paradigm of Industry 4.0, in current years, organizations intend to achieve competitive advantage in their business activities. Moreover, organizations are facing challenges to meet the ever-changing customer demands as well as maintaining sustainable practices in the production system. Therefore, organizations are intending to implement the latest technologies of Industry 4.0 to construct an innovative and sustainable business atmosphere. In link to the model of Industry 4.0, the government of Malaysia is taking different initiatives to adopt the latest technologies in the industrial sector. Additionally, Malaysia has acknowledged the importance of future manufacturing systems that will provide competitiveness and sustainability for the nation. But there is an absence of understanding of how organizations execute the technologies of Industry 4.0 and it is very essential to distinguish the role and impact of those technologies on the production system. This study intends to reveal the role and impact of Industry 4.0 technologies on competitive advantage in the context of Malaysian Industries. This study will employ a cross-sectional survey of Malaysian SMEs and has set a target to collect above 350 samples using simple random sampling from 5 states of Malaysia. The study also planned to use a questionnaire-based survey and for data analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) will be used.

PurposeThis study aimed to examine the role of big data analytics capabilities (BDAC) in fostering organizational innovation capabilities and, consequently, in achieving economic, social and environmental sustainability.Design/methodology/approachThrough the lens of dynamic capability theory, this study surveyed 115 hotels using purposive sampling to gain in-depth insights regarding the factors affecting organizational sustainability in the hospitality industry. The data analysis was conducted using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).FindingsThe findings reported a substantial impact of seven core dimensions (i.e. technology, data, basic resources, technological skills, managerial skills, organizational learning and data-driven culture) in building BDAC among hotels. Moreover, BDAC was also revealed to significantly influence innovation capabilities, positively impacting all three sorts of sustainability performance. Innovation capability also mediated the relationship between BDAC and all sustainability factors.Practical implicationsThe findings will assist policymakers and practitioners in developing effective initiatives to enhance the adoption and implementation of data science and technologies, substantially contributing to the "National IR 4.0 Policy" and "Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint" and achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).Originality/valueThe originality of this study is established by investigating the interplay between BDAC, innovation capability and sustainability performance, particularly in the context of the hotel industry, whereas the existing studies focus on exploring the advantages of BDA.

BACKGROUND: The current level of industrialization has generated many challenges worldwide, including ecological hazards, climate change, and the overuse of non-renewable natural resources, thereby creating an increasing demand for achieving the goal of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL). In this regard, Industry 4.0 can be used as a crunch point to contribute to the production process that can help achieve sustainable development. PURPOSE: While the Malaysian government proposed the "Industry4ward" approach to enhance technological adoption, there is scarce empirical evidence in the literature that validates SMEs for Industry 4.0. Using Dynamic Capability View (DCV), this study proposes a framework that includes core determinants like top management commitment, supply chain integration, and IT infrastructure, that can significantly influence Industry 4.0 implementation toward achieving TBL sustainability. DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH: Employing simple random sampling, the study adopted a quantitative approach based on 199 useable respondent's feedback collected through a survey questionnaire of 900 employees from Malaysian SMEs. The statistical analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (Partial Least Square, SmartPLS 3.3.2). FINDINGS: The results show that top management and IT infrastructure significantly impact Industry 4.0 implementation and sustainability. In contrast, the analysis also demonstrates that supply chain integration is insignificant to Industry 4.0 implementation in SMEs. The findings also indicate that the relationship between the determinants of Industry 4.0 and TBL sustainability can be mediated by the "effective implementation" of Industry 4.0. RECOMMENDATIONS: The study highlights the practical consequences of the role and use of the determinants in Industry 4.0 implementation. Its findings help managers and policy-makers to optimize value creation to achieve sustainable development goals. During the time being, while everybody else is busy conversing about the adverse effects of COVID‐19, researchers solemnly look forward to intensifying the positive effects of COVID‐19 on political, economic, social, technological, environmental, and ethical (PESTEL) aspects, as it was unrevealed. The FGD (Focus Group Discussion) and Delphi methods were conducted from April 2020 to January 2021 through the online platform to collect the data. In this research, 40 graduates from 40 families were taken as our sample size who carried out the opinions of their family members. The average duration of the interview was 30–40 min. This article highlighted that COVID‐19 has some positive effects on social‐psychological aspects (PESTEL) and, people are trying to adapt to new practices (New Normal) to improve their lifestyles against the deadly virus. COVID‐19 would pass, but life will never be the same; thus, researchers conduct the research based on a country, which may not be similar to the other cultures and countries' perceptions. This is the first and foremost study on the positive effects of covid‐19 and a guideline to cope with any pandemic in the near future. The study's findings are intended to assist the community in developing positive social psychology to call the covid‐19 into question and look forward to a new standard.

Tumpang Subdistrict is one of the sub-districts in Malang Regency which has many steep slopes especially in the east of Tumpang Subdistrict, this area has a high potential for natural disasters, one of which disasters is landslides, so it needs to be repaired. Landslides by tracing the areas that caused landslides in order to minimize losses caused. The purpose of this study is to know the cause and distribution areas which has high potential of landslides. This research method is scoring and weighting, and overlapping with physical digital basic map Tumpang to get areas that use landslides, which are processed using ArcGis 10.2 software. The results of this study are Landslide Prone Maps which are maps that describe areas with the level of landslide vulnerability assessment in the study area.
