In diesem Beitrag betonen wir die Bedeutung des Inputs von Innovation im Produktionsverfahren als Methode zur Maximierung der als Produktivität übersetzten Kapazität und Effizienz des Arbeitskräftefaktors. Wir beschreiben auf empirische Weise einige der Faktoren, die für die Existenz eines angemessenen Niveaus von Arbeitskraftproduktivität ausschlaggebend sind, und verdeutlichen die Beziehung zwischen Innovation und Produktivität mit dem klaren Ziel einer Betonung der Bedeutung des technischen Fortschritts für die Entwicklung der NUTS-2-Regionen (Nomenclature des Unités Territoriales Statistiques) in 27 Ländern der Europäischen Union." Technology-facilitated abuse or 'tech abuse' in intimate partner violence (IPV) contexts describes the breadth of harms that can be enacted using digital systems and online tools. While the misappropriation of technologies in the context of IPV has been subject to prior research, a dedicated study on the United Kingdom's IPV support sector has so far been missing. The present analysis summarises insights derived from semi-structured interviews with 34 UK voluntary and statutory sector representatives that were conducted over the course of two years (2018–2020). The analysis identifies four overarching themes that point out support services' practices, concerns and challenges in relation to tech abuse, and specifically the Internet of Things (IoT). These themes include (a) technology-facilitated abuse, where interviewees outline their experiences and understanding of the concept of tech abuse; (b) IoT-enabled tech abuse, focusing on the changing dynamics of tech abuse due to the continuing rise of smart consumer products; (c) data, documentation and assessment, that directs our attention to the shortcomings of existing risk assessment and recording practices; and (d) training, support and assistance, in which participants point to the need for specialist support capabilities to be developed within and beyond existing services.

The goal of this paper is to provide empirical evidence to determine whether microfinance, measured through a country's gross loan portfolio per capita, has a heterogeneous effect on poverty reduction among countries with different levels of poverty. We have used a panel‐data quantile regression with a data set for 57 countries for the years 2005, 2008, and 2011 to estimate the distributional impacts of microcredits on two poverty indices. Results reveal not only that microfinance significantly reduces the incidence and depth of poverty, but also that this effect differs across the different poverty levels (quantiles). The effect of microcredit on poverty reduction is slightly larger among countries where the incidence and depth of poverty are the highest, suggesting that microcredit reaches and benefits even the poorest individuals.

This article describes how higher education (HE) can contribute to the economic and social empowerment of young graduates, which will drive innovation and socio-economic devel-opment, and social and cultural change in Europe. We propose that the concept of compe-tence should be enriching with the integration of the professional, social, cultural and political aspects. We suggest that improving HE graduates' competencies and capabilities will affect their self-perception and status, and increase their employability, income and wealth, life suc-cess, resources, mental and physical energy, and social relations and encourage engaged citi-zenship, all of which will shape individual living conditions. ; The research for this paper was conducted as part of the research project ref. This paper deals with the problem of precoding, scheduling, and link adaptation in next generation mobile interactive multibeam satellite systems. In contrast to the fixed satellite services, when the user terminals move across the coverage area, additional challenges appear. Due to the time varying channel, the gateway has only access to a delayed version of the channel state information (CSI), which can eventually limit the overall system performance. However, in contrast to general multiuser multiple-input multiple-output terrestrial systems, the CSI degradation in multibeam mobile applications has a very limited impact for typical fading channel and system assumptions.
