Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah or School-based Management (SBM) in Indonesian elementary school is aimed at optimizing the quality of curriculum and learning management, because learning is the core activity in school. Development and improvement of SBM in Indonesian elementary school was implemented since 1999 and has been continuing until now. This study is generally aimed at describing the implementation of curriculum management and school-based learning in Indonesian elementary school. This study employs descriptive quantitative approach. The population of this study was all of the elementary schools in Indonesia which are spread into 34 provinces with three regions namely Western Indonesia Region (WIB), Central Indonesia Region (WITA) and Eastern Indonesia Region (WIT). The sample technique used in this study was purposive random sampling area. The samples of this study were 16 provinces, 32 districts/cities, and 96 elementary schools. The results show that the implementation of curriculum management and school-based learning in Indonesian elementary school is categorized as the excellent qualification. Of the 23 elements/aspects that become the scope of curriculum management and school-based learning in elementary school, all schools have excellent qualifications.

Abstrak : Studi bertujuan untuk: mengungkap gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah; mengetahui kinerja guru; mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan otokratis kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru; mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru; mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan partisipasi kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru; mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah atas kendali bebas dan kinerja guru; dan mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kepemimpinan dan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan instrument yang digunakan adalah angket dengan responden guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan teknik analisis korelasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang terdiri dari otokrasi, partisipasi, demokrasi dan kendali bebas tergolong baik, dengan tingkat frekuensi gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan adalah gaya kepemimpinan demokratis, partisipasi, kendali bebas dan otokratis. ; tingkat kinerja guru dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran baik; tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan otokratis kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru; ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru; ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan partisipasi kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru; ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan kendali bebas guru dengan kinerja guru; dan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru Keywords : style of leadership, teacher's performance, teacher's of state high school Malang. Abstract: This research aimed to determine democratic leadership and decisions making on education in Islamic perspective at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur'an Gontor Ponorogo. This research used descriptive qualitative research with data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation, as well as Miles and Hubberman data analysis, including data analysis, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that democratic leadership principal of school and making decisions on education in Islamic perspective at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur'an Gontor Ponorogo has been carried out properly in accordance with Quran, in Ash-Shura: verse: 38, which is reflected in every decision. The school principal always decides through a deliberative forum together with the teachers openly, responsively, responsibly, and trustfully, by promoting the principle of togetherness and kindship. ملخص: الهدف من هذا البحث هو معرفة قيادة الديمقراطية ووضع السياسات والقرارات التعليمية علي نظرية الإسلام في المدرسة الابتدائية معهد ولد الصالح بيت القرآن فونوروكو. يستخدم هذا البحث البحث النوعي الوصفي مع أسلوب جمع البيانات من خلال المقابلات والملاحظات والتوثيق، وكذلك استخدام تحليل بيانات على نموذج ميليس وهوبيرمين، الذي يشمل على تحليل البيانات، وعرض البيانات، وأخذ الاستنباط. تشير نتائج هذا البحث إلى أن: قيادة الديمقراطية مدير المدرسة ووضع السياسات والقرارات التعليمية في المدرسة الابتدائية معهد ولد الصالح بيت القرآن فونوروكو، تم تنفيذها بشكل جيد ومناسب بالقرآن في سورة الشورى: الآية ٤٣، ويظهر ذلك عند ما توجد مشكلات التعليم والتربية، فالمدير يحلها دائما من خلال التشاور مع المعلمين منفتحا، ومستجيبا، ومسؤولا، بتقديم مراعاة مبدأ العمل الجماعي والأسري.

Abstract: This study aims to describe the role of principal leadership in decision making, the process of decision-making by the principal, as well as factors that support the role of principal leadership in decision making. This research uses qualitative approach. Sources of data used in this study are principals, teachers and personnel kependidiikan. Data analysis used in this research through data reduction, data display, and data verification. Abstrack: This study aims to describe the types of decision-making in school-based schools, the role of principals as leaders in decision-making at boarding schools, school principals in decision-making at boarding schools and the obstacles and solutions of school principals in decision-making in school-based boarding school. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. While the procedure for collecting data in this study uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results obtained from this study are: (1) the types of decisions in the boarding school-based schools are in two categories, namely the decisions of the principal and decisions of the caregiver of the foundation; (2) the role of the principal as a leader in making decision-making at the boarding school-based school is that there are two roles that are carried out, namely as the absolute decision maker in the academic field of the school and the liaison role between the school and the foundation; (3) principals' procedures for making decisions at boarding schools based on: conducting leadership meetings, carrying out draft analysis of planning, submitting to the foundation (if the decision is related to the foundation), alternative decision-making, selected alternatives, and implementing decisions; (4) the type of leadership of the principal in making decisions in boarding school-based schools is: democratic, authoritarian and familial; and (5) school principals' constraints and solutions in decision making at boarding schools based on: first, there are guidelines from foundations that narrow down the decision-making movements in schools so that when making decisions the principal always tries to be guided by the rules that have been made from foundation. This study aimed to describe nyantri (Islamic crash course) program as a leadership strategy adopted by school principals in strengthening the school organizational culture. This study used a qualitative approach via theoretical phenomenology orientation and a multicase design. The data collection was done through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The validity of the data was measured by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study found three models of Islamic crash course performed: tashih, that is, Al-Qur'an reading competence, taushiyah (Islamic lecture) of leadership values, and apprenticeship for the application of a santri's (Islamic crash course student) character values. The benefits for the teachers are the preservation of their Al-Qur'an reading competence and the improved intensity of the leadership and application of Islamic values, which form the school organizational culture. An integration of values rooted from the three models into the institutional vision could strengthen the school organizational culture to improve school achievement.
