Innovative technology has been developed for the production of gelcoat and materials of reduced flammability based on unsaturated polyester resins. These materials were synthesized from raw materials obtained from waste poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) and bio-renewable resources. The presented technologies respect the environmental legislative as well as the principles of green and circular economy. Resulting products can be applied in various industries (construction/building, mining, polymer processing etc.).
