This research is motivated by the existence of an interesting phenomenon that occurs in society today. Such as acts of terrorism that often occur in society, one of which is by carrying out suicide bombings as an implementation of jihad. The series of actions by the western media was manipulated and disseminated that the actions of the Muslims were an act of resistance by Muslims against non-Muslims. As a result, the meaning of jihad experiences a narrowing. Wahbah Az-Zuhaili in his book wants to explain that jihad does not have a narrow meaning like the understanding of most people, especially terrorist perpetrators. The understanding that has led to terrorism includes Fundamentalism, which is a view that is upheld on beliefs, religious, political, and cultural. Also, religious schools of thought tend to interpret religious texts rigidly and literally (textually). Other views such as radicalism, extremism, and separatism also tend towards terrorism. This has led to many deviations from the true meaning of jihad. According to Wahbah Az-Zuhaili, acts of terrorism are very contrary to the teachings of Islam, such as causing damage everywhere, creating panic, and spreading fear among the people. He explained that jihad and terrorism are different things because terrorism has the connotation of all attacks, intimidation, destruction, or violations of the interests of the state without any rights, without ceasefire or declaration of war. Whereas jihad is carried out based on rights, jihad has consequences for the existence of rights, while terrorism will have consequences for the absence of rights. According to him, the greatest jihad in Islam and the greatest is with ideas and dialogue, not by violence and acts of war. And there are many other meanings of jihad.

This research aimed to look into the collaborative governance model proposed by the Jogja Berwakaf Movement in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). Data mining is based on primary and secondary legal sources linked to waqf governance employing empirical juridical research methodologies and transformational approaches. Meanwhile, a qualitative descriptive model was employed to analyze the data. The study's findings demonstrate that the Jogja Berwakaf Movement's program has successfully mobilized government and private partners in the DIY to collaborate and collaborate to address the community's socioeconomic difficulties. The Jogja Berwakaf Movement has raised awareness of waqf productivity's significance in speeding economic growth, socio-economic empowerment, and poverty alleviation. This movement resulted in a variety of program models, including the collection of innovative waqf through waqf auctions, literacy and education of waqf to the community through the 'Kopi Luwak' and 'Kopi Lawak' events, digitization of waqf integrated with poverty data in Sleman Regency, waqf corner at KUA throughout DIY through integrated waqf application and various other collaboration-based socialization, collection, and distribution programs of waqf. Through this collaborative movement, waqf governance is more optimal and directed, and the multiplayer effect is getting bigger. This research aims to analyze the influence of information asymmetry, religiosity, organizational culture, and regulatory enforcement toward fraud tendency of village government officials. This study employed a survey approach as the method to obtain data. Regression analysis was used to test the proposed hypotheses. From seventy-one respondents working as village government administrators in thirty-five villages in Magetan Regency, East Java Province, this study has found that information asymmetry, religiosity, organizational culture, and regulatory enforcement significantly affect the village government officials' tendency to commit fraud.

This study examines the antecedents and consequences of the use of the performance measurement system of local government. It aimed to investigate the effect of organizational culture, external pressures, and leadership commitment using a performance measurement system. It also further investigates whether the use of a performance measurement system affects public accountability. The data were collected by distributing a questionnaire to the local government staff. The sample of this study was civil servants of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. There were 95 respondents in this study. In analyzing the data, multiple linear regression was used. The results indicate that organizational culture, external pressures, and leadership commitments significantly affected the performance measurement system. It also found that using a performance measurement system had a significant positive effect on public accountability.

PurposeThis study assesses the current landscape of business continuity management (BCM) research while exploring research trends, structures and delineating potential future directions.Design/methodology/approachA comprehensive bibliometric analysis was conducted on 360 articles from the Scopus and Web of Science databases using Biblioshiny software. A meta-synthesis was employed to aggregate and synthesize findings from the bibliometric results.FindingsThe results demonstrate a notable increase in publication numbers since the onset of the pandemic, reaching a peak in 2022 with a total of 342 articles. A collaborative bond among scholars transcends geographical boundaries and national affiliations. The analytical results propose avenues for future research, addressing crucial areas such as the integration of business continuity management systems (BCMS), the development of BCM frameworks and a comparative analysis of business impact analysis (BIA) frameworks through pertinent theories.Research limitations/implicationsThe study contributes theoretical and practical implications, serving as a valuable resource for academics and practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of BCM's role in business recovery and preserving organizational continuity in the face of disruptions.Originality/valueThis study pioneers a comprehensive approach by integrating bibliometric analysis and qualitative meta-synthesis, providing a consolidated overview of BCM research. Additionally, it presents future research proposals in this area.
