This work is aimed at identifying socio-anthropological and socio-cultural forms in which the health-saving crisis is manifesting itself today. The article analyzes abnormal forms of attitude to one's health, which are quite common today. These are narcissistic hyper-concern about bodily health and appearance, and the opposite nihilistic attitude to one's life and health, manifested in an incredible dominance of bad habits, including among young people. If narcissism is individualism elevated to the absolute degree of indifference to others, then nihilism is the triumph of Thanatos over Eros, that is, destructive life-denying forces over vital life-affirming ones. There are no criteria for "good enough" health in the narcissistic paradigm: it is an endless process of influencing oneself, which is ultimately not only transferred to the digital format, but also begins to have a negative impact on the individual's real body. Nihilism is based on an indifferent, but more often negative attitude towards the norms and ideals of a healthy lifestyle and on the denial of their practical implementation in daily behavior. This is its difference from narcissism, in which the main thing is unconcern towards others. The article shows that the source of these anomalies lies not in the psychological plane of motivation loss, but in the ethical-existential, that is, in the axiological plane. In this context, there is proposed to consider these phenomena as social, testifying to the value crisis of culture. The article concludes that both in the case of narcissism and in the case of nihilism, there is a loss of the spiritual value and meaning of life as a metaphysical gift. In relation to health, this signals something more than just a loss of psychological motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle. We are talking about the crisis of the individual's value attitudes, going deep into the unenlightened existence of the individual.

Inhalt: 'Fortresses must carry out the same tasks as the fortresses of old....They must allow themselves to be surrounded and thus tie down as many enemy forces as possible.' So Hitler directed in March 1944 and, in so doing, sealed the fate of Ternopol', Kovel', Poznan and Breslau, cities in the Ukraine and Poland that were in the path of the Red Army's advance towards Nazi Germany.German forces, under orders to resist at all costs, adopted all-round defence and struggled to hold out while waiting for relief - which never came. In this gripping and original book, Alexey Isaev describes, in vivid detail, what happened next -intense and ruthless fighting, horrendous casualties among soldiers and civilians, the fabric of these historic cities torn apart. His account is based on pioneering archival research which offers us an unrivalled insight into the tactics on both sides, the experience of the close-quarter fighting in the streets and houses, and the dreadful aftermath. At the same time he shows why these cities were chosen and how the wider war passed them by as the

A method has been developed for extracting informational spectral components from the signal under study with a minimum error arising from uncorrelated changes in the parameters of this signal by creating sequences of double pulses. A method for synthesizing a test signal is proposed, in which the spectral components used in the analysis of the parameters of this signal predominate and the spectral components adjacent to the informative one are maximally suppressed. The procedure for constructing structures from combinations of double pulse sequences is considered, equations for the amplitudes of their spectral components are obtained, and in accordance with this, the basic requirements and rules for calculating the main temporal parameters of the resulting pulse sequences are determined. The analysis of the areas of sensitivity to changes in the main parameters of the pulse sequence has been carried out. An example of obtaining a test signal with the selection of the 13th spectral component against the background of the suppression of five neighboring ones is considered, and an analysis of the measurement error associated with the instability of the main parameters of the generated pulse sequence is performed. The presented method makes it possible to organize the selection of an informative spectral component with a maximum quality factor by excluding neighboring ones and, at the same time, to increase the accuracy of measuring signal parameters by reducing the influence of the instability of its parameters, which is unattainable using modern approaches, including digital signal processing. The method can be used in the power industry when analyzing the state of operability of electrical machines, for measuring speed and distance in radar, etc.

The article deals with the analysis of methodological and practical problems of studying religious and ethnoreligious extremism in modern society. The authors studied in detail the current conceptual estimations revealing interrelation between religion, terrorism and extremism. The algorithm used by the authors let them determine organizational forms and methods of aggregating negative factors, widely spread mechanisms that hinder the peaceful existence of the wider global community. The necessity of conducting a competent and adjusted social policy (educational, domestic, informational), which takes into consideration interests of different social and religious groups, has been stressed. Such policy should be well balanced, intelligently designed, and having financial and logistical support. The research has led to the conclusion that it is disseminating extremist ideology that leads to the growth of terrorist threat and to new terrorist acts themselves. In the article the authors have come to the conclusion that religious extremism should be considered as a regulated social activity of people who are united by religious and political ideology and perform actions directed at changing the established social and political structure.
