This paper examines the organisation of government and the international development community-centred globalisation, focusing on the transformative nature of the two, particularly the concurrent reproduction of governmentality and the state of misgovernance in Bangladesh. It also examines the relationship between governance and the power of non-governmentality, particularly the specific nature of Bangladeshi civil society and the limitation of NGO in overcoming the state of misgovernance. The purpose of the present paper is to examine how the school leaders frame their own experiences of managing change within the school system. The mixed method design was used to answer the research questions and understand the research problems. Both the qualitative and the quantitative data were used to identify the frames orienting school leaders to manage change within the school setting. The obtained data showed that the participants employed most of the frames (structural, political, human resource, and symbolic) in managing school change. The data revealed that the human resource frame appeared universal in most of the cases. Understanding principals' perceptions of change management can help practitioners as well as academics to work more efficiently and address the needs of the school leaders.

Rehabilitation after violent conflict is relevant to many countries today -- especially, but not only, in sub-Saharan Africa. It is generally too narrowly specified, too short, & too fragmented, with no macrostrategic or conceptual frame. Further, rehabilitation is usually based on quite inadequate knowledge of the history, priorities, & dynamics of the afflicted country. Rehabilitation efforts should take into account the economic (especially livelihood rebuilding), social (stress & perceived inequity reducing), & political (reconciliation & legitimacy restoration) factors at play. In severely war-impacted countries, these are likely to be among the most economically efficient ways to regain growth & restructure economic development as well as rebuild social & political reconciliation & relegitimization.
