Politische Talkshows über Flucht: Wirklichkeitskonstruktionen und Diskurse. Eine kritische Analyse
In: Cultural Studies 49
Plasberg, Illner, Will and Co. - for the political talk-show genre, refugees are a good topic: controversial, entertaining with the right guests, and thereby also sure to help them hit their "as. Sophisticated debate, however, often falls by the wayside. In the mode of a critical cultural studies analysis, Simon Goebel shows which realities talk-show guests and presenters construct about forced migration and refugees. Through this it becomes clear how political talk-show narratives about forced migration are generated in the context of culture, identity, economy, or order and control. From a cultural and media studies perspective, this book offers new stimulus for a critical perspective on this popular television format.
