A través del presente documento, se evidencia la importancia de la Industria Creativa y Cultural en el mundo de hoy, especialmente para las ciudades y las empresas. En este sentido, se brinda un marco que pretende impulsar el emprendimiento en estos sectores, que se espera contribuya con el desarrollo socioeconómico de Bogotá. This research studies the transfer process that occurs between the government program of a candidate to hold public office and his political campaign through social networks. In particular, the framing, prominence, and meaning assigned to the messages published in these virtual environments are evaluated and the emotional charge assigned to the information is examined. The analysis has as a case study the regional elections of October 27, 2019, in Colombia, specifically the Twitter campaigns of the winning candidates of the mayoralties of Bogotá and Medellín. The comparative study of the publications of both candidates is done using the data analysis platform: Python - Orange3, which includes mathematical models for natural language analysis and sentiment analysis. The conceptual framework of this study is supported by the Agenda Setting theory and the message framing concept developed by McCombs and Evatt; notions that allowed establishing the contribution that the imminent transfer of electoral contests to social networks has made to the political debate. ; Esta investigación estudia el proceso de transferencia que se produce entre el programa electoral de un candidato a un cargo público, la campaña política y su correspondiente impacto en las redes sociales. Particularmente, evalúa el encuadre, la prominencia y el significado de los mensajes publicados en los entornos virtuales y examina el índice afectivo asignado a la información. El análisis tiene como caso de estudio las elecciones regionales del 27 de octubre de 2019 en Colombia, exactamente las campañas en Twitter de los candidatos ganadores de las alcaldías de Bogotá y de Medellín. El estudio comparativo de las publicaciones de ambos candidatos se hace mediante el uso de la plataforma de análisis de datos Python - Orange3, que incluye modelos matemáticos para el procesamiento del lenguaje natural y el análisis afectivo. El marco conceptual está soportado en la teoría de la agenda setting y el concepto de encuadre del mensaje, desarrollados por McCombs y Evatt; estas nociones permitieron establecer el aporte que ha brindado al debate político el inminente traslado de las contiendas electorales a las redes sociales.

La universidad actual es la institución encargada de mejorar las competencias de la nación, para formar el talento humano de la sociedad; desarrollar, introducir y promover los adelantos de la ciencia, el arte y la tecnología; al lograr que la ciencia, la tecnología y el arte formen parte de la cultura de la sociedad. En la actualidad, se constata que la formación de los maestros de las carreras de Educación Especial y Logopedia presenta dificultades en la enseñanza–aprendizaje del sistema Braille, dado por la carencia de una metodología que responda a las necesidades de los maestros en formación.

In Mexico, suicide and suicidal behaviors (SB) have increased 275% since 1990. Prisoners constitute a growing population in Mexico and have been identified as high suicide risk. Using a sample of 194 male prisoners, we measure what demographics and mental health symptomology are associated with suicidal ideation (SI) and SB, and identify what demographics and mental health symptomology predict SI and SB. Global Severity and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) were significant predictors of experiencing SI, whereas global severity, ACEs, and age were significant predictors of experiencing SB. Findings support increased identification and comprehensive mental health services addressing suicidality in prisons.

Stigma toward families with members managing mental health problems remains underresearched in Latino communities. Using community-based surveys on mental health stigma and help-seeking attitudes, this study examined the associations between family-level stigma and participant sociodemographic characteristics. Only education level and spirituality significantly predicted family-level stigma. Individuals with higher education levels exhibited lower stigma scores. High spirituality levels were associated with minimal increases in stigma. The study underscores the influence of education on family-level stigma among Latino individuals. Given the importance of family in Latino culture, reshaping community narratives around mental health to support affected families can promote inclusivity and support, reducing stigmatization.

This qualitative research explains how sociocultural factors influence the academic performance of a group of migrant students enrolled in the English Language Teaching Program at Universidad Católica Luis Amigó. Three data collection techniques were implemented for the development of this project. First, a semi-structured interview with open-ended questions was conducted for each participant. Interviews were recorded and then transcribed for analysis purposes. Before the interview, participants were delivered a consent form and a biodata format to be filled. Second, six participants were invited to write a week-long narrative describing their experiences in the target cultural scenario. Third, a focus group was set up with five students selected at random out of the thirteen participants. Major results indicate that students who perceive a higher level of family support are more likely to achieve their academic goals. Besides, migrant students who report fewer difficulties to adjust to the host culture, have greater opportunities to succeed academically. In addition, migrant students' previous academic experiences have an important impact on their adjustment process to the university context. This study concluded that migrant students' academic performance is a dialogical and reciprocal relationship among different sociocultural factors.
El present article se centra en l'estudi i anàlisi dels diferents models i estratègies que la Unió Europea (UE) ha desenvolupat en l'última dècada amb l'objectiu d'adaptar-se a la nova i canviant conjuntura comunicativa i social. Amb l'objectiu d'establir com la UE s'ha adaptat a aquest nou panorama, s'identifiquen i descriuen els principals models d'alfabetització (des de la digital fins a la mediàtica) aplicats en els últims deu anys. ; This research focuses on models and strategies the EU has developed over the last decade in order to deal with these new and changing conditions. This is an important fact due to these strategies also have guided the actions of the European Union in promoting digital and media literacy. In order to understand how it has got to the current position in Europe, we identify and describe the models of literacy (digital and its gradual transformation in media literacy) that have emerged along more than a decade. ; El presente artículo se centra en el estudio y análisis de los diferentes modelos y estrategias que la Unión Europea (UE) ha desarrollado en la última década con el objetivo de adaptarse a la nueva y cambiante coyuntura comunicativa y social. Con el objetivo de establecer cómo la UE se ha adaptado a este nuevo panorama, se identifican y describen los principales modelos de alfabetización (desde la digital hasta la mediática) aplicados en los últimos diez años.
