El anime se ha convertido en una de las grandes bazas de la diplomacia pública japonesa para publicitar el encanto de Japón. El gobierno japonés es consciente de este hecho, y apoya más que nunca el movimiento Cool Japan. Como resultado, algunos anime ya no exportan una visión personal de Japón, sino una hecha a medida. En relación con la creciente popularidad del anime, desde los años noventa del pasado siglo el peregrinaje otaku ha atraído turismo y revitalizado así la economía de las prefecturas. Podemos decir, por tanto, que el peregrinaje otaku es una consecuencia del éxito del anime. Sin embargo, recientemente ha habido un incremento en los anime cuyo principal objetivo es la promoción de prefecturas concretas. Mediante el estudio de algunos casos representativos, pretendemos investigar qué aspectos está interesado en promocionar Japón y cómo lo hace. Anime has become one of the greatest assets of Japanese public diplomacy to advertise Japan''s charm. The Japanese government is aware of this fact, and it is now more supportive than ever of the Cool Japan movement. As a result, some anime no longer exports a personal vision of Japan, but a crafted image of it. Related to the increasing popularity of anime, since the 1990s the phenomenon of otaku pilgrimage has been attracting tourism and thus revitalizing the prefectures economy. Hence, we can say that otaku pilgrimage is a by-product of popular anime. However, recently there has been an increase in the number of anime whose main goal is the promotion of particular prefectures. Through the study of some representative cases, we intend to investigate which aspects Japan is more interested in promoting and how it does it.

La esfera municipal estuvo supeditada en España al poder estatal central desde el siglo XIX, desde un punto de vista legal, financiero y de gestión. Esto se acentuó durante el franquismo. Sin embargo, desde los años 1960 se debatió en el seno de la dictadura la reforma de los ayuntamientos, como parte de un proyecto más amplio de institucionalización y legitimación. Los debates en torno a la reforma se dilataron en el seno del régimen y finalmente ésta no tuvo frutos relevantes. La nueva ley de 1975 y las elecciones de 1976 lo atestiguan. Tampoco se introdujeron cambios apreciables en la financiación municipal. Quedó claro que la reforma de las corporaciones locales representaba un verdadero nudo gordiano. Durante el proceso de cambio político la vida municipal se vio postergada, demorándose su renovación democrática hasta la primavera de 1979. La prioridad serían las autonomías y no los ayuntamientos. ; Municipal government was under close scrutiny by the State in Spain since the nineteenth century, legally, financially and administratively. During Francoism scrutiny increased. Nevertheless, the reform of municipal life was debated within the regime since the 1960s, as part of a broader project of institutionalization and legitimization. The debate on reform was prolongued, yet for the most part fruitless. The new law of 1975 and the elections of 1976 are telling of the negligible results of Francoist reform. Municipal income remained insufficient. It became clear that reform of local administration was truly a Gordian knot. Municipal life was not a priority during the process of political change, its democratic renewal was delayed until the Spring of 1979. The priority were the autonomías and not the ayuntamientos.

We work with photonic graphene lattices under strain with gain and loss, modeled by the Dirac equation with an imaginary mass term. To construct such Hamiltonians and their solutions, we use the free-particle Dirac equation and then a matrix approach of supersymmetric quantum mechanics to generate a new Hamiltonian with a magnetic vector potential and an imaginary position-dependent mass term. Then, we use a gauge transformation that maps our solutions to the final system, photonic graphene under strain with a position-dependent gain/loss term. We give explicit expressions for the guided modes.

In this work, we derive two equivalent non-rational extensions of the quantum harmonic oscillator using two different supersymmetric transformations. For these extensions, we built ladder operators as the product of the intertwining operators related with these equivalent supersymmetric transformations, which results in two-step ladder operators. We linearised these operators to obtain operators of the same nature that follow a linear commutation relation. After the linearisation, we derive coherent states as eigenstates of the annigilation operator and analyse some relevant mathematical and physical properties, such as the completeness relation, mean-energy values, temporal stability, time evolution of the probability densities, and Wigner distributions. From these properties, we conclude that these coherent states present both classical and quantum behaviour.

Se identifican y analizan los principales factores que limitan la difusión y el reconocimiento internacional de las revistas científicas y técnicas españolas. Son objeto de estudio las características de edición y presentación de la información científica contenida en estas publicaciones, su disponibilidad, así como determinados hábitos de publicación de los investigadores. Entendemos que la problemática planteada en este estudio y las reflexiones que de él se derivan son, en gran medida, aplicables a sectores editoriales científicos de otros países.

Understanding protein amyloidogenesis is an important topic in protein science, fueled by the role of amyloid aggregates, especially oligomers, in the etiology of a number of devastating human degenerative diseases. However, the mechanisms that determine the formation of amyloid oligomers remain elusive due to the high complexity of the amyloidogenesis process. For instance, gold nanoparticles promote or inhibit amyloid fibrillation. We have functionalized gold nanorods with a metal-chelating group to selectively immobilize soluble RepA-WH1, a model synthetic bacterial prionoid, using a hexa-histidine tag (H6). H6-RepA-WH1 undergoes stable amyloid oligomerization in the presence of catalytic concentrations of anisotropic nanoparticles. Then, in a physically separated event, such oligomers promote the growth of amyloid fibers of untagged RepA-WH1. SERS spectral changes of H6-RepA-WH1 on spherical citrate-AuNP substrates provide evidence for structural modifications in the protein, which are compatible with a gradual increase in ?-sheet structure, as expected in amyloid oligomerization. © 2016 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. During the June 2015 outburst of the black hole binary V404 Cyg, rapid changes in the X-ray brightness and spectra were common. The INTEGRAL monitoring campaign detected spectacular Eddington-limited X-ray flares, but also rapid variations at much lower flux levels. On 2015 June 21 at 20 h 50 min, the 3-10 keV JEM-X data as well as simultaneous optical data started to display a gradual brightening from one of these low-flux states. This was followed 15 min later by an order-of-magnitude increase of flux in the 20-40 keV IBIS/ISGRI light curve in just 15 s. The best-fitting model for both the pre- and post-transition spectra required a Compton-thick partially covering absorber. The absorber parameters remained constant, but the spectral slope varied significantly during the event, with the photon index decreasing from ¿ ¿ 3.7 to ¿ ¿ 2.3. We propose that the rapid 20-40 keV flux increase was either caused by a spectral state transition that was hidden from our direct view, or that there was a sudden reduction in the amount of Compton down-scattering of the primary X-ray emission in the disk outflow. ; With funding from the Spanish government through the "María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence" accreditation (MDM-2017-0737)
