Objective: To investigate whether professionals of the Home Care Service value communication in the scope of palliative care, when assisting patients without possibility of healing, and to ascertain the facilitating communication strategies used by these professionals for promoting palliative care. Methods: This is an exploratory research, with qualitative nature, conducted with 22 professionals of the Home Care Service situated in the city of João Pessoa/PB. Data were analyzed by means of the content analysis technique. Results: The analysis gave rise to two categories: "Valorization of communication in the relationship between health professionals and patients under palliative care" and "Communication strategies used by professionals for promoting palliative care in the Home Care Service". Conclusion: It can be concluded that communication is configured as an essential component of patient care and is extremely important for promoting palliative care.

Objective: To reveal the meaning of adolescence in a shelter institution, through the main reasons that led to this experience; to inquire about the representation of the family and the care before the institutionalized living and to identify what are the expectations of life of the adolescents in relation to the future. Methods: This is a descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach, in which the focal group technique was used. Data were analyzed according to the Collective Subject Discourse. Results: The research revealed the following central ideas: 1) The private world of shelter institutions; 2) Representation of family X care under the eyes of adolescents and 3) Perspectives, dreams and desires regarding the future. Conclusion: There is evidence of the need for new debates about the adolescents' experience of difficulties in relation to the universe they are facing.

Objective: Investigating the understanding of nurses about Phytotherapy and checking the strategies needed for consolidating this practice in Primary Care. Methods: This is an exploratory research, with qualitative approach, conducted with 10 nurses in Family Health units of the District IV, in the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba. Data were collected in interviews recorded during the month of April 2015 and qualitatively processed through the content analysis technique. Results: The categories emerged from the analysis were: Phytotherapy in Primary Care: understanding of nurses; and Strategies needed for consolidating Phytotherapy in Primary Care. These categories have proved the lack of understanding of nurses about Phytotherapy and its policies, as well as strategies needed for consolidating this in Primary Care. Conclusion: Accordingly, it is hoped that this study will enable new reflections and broader investigation about the use of Phytotherapy in the context of Primary Care.

Objective: The objective was to investigate the ethical observances used by nurses assisting the patient without possibilities of cure. Methods: Exploratory research, qualitative in nature, performed with 28 nurses of a public hospital, located in the city of João Pessoa/PB. The data were collected through a questionnaire, from August to October 2012 and subjected to content analysis technique. Results: The categories identified were: Palliative Care: principles of Bioethics to the patient without possibilities of cure and privacy and professional secrecy under the palliative care. Such categories indicated that the professionals are valuing the principles of Bioethics, as well as the privacy and the professional secrecy, using them as a strategy to assist the care to the patient without possibilities of cure. Conclusion: This study is expected to subsidize new investigations, because they are still incipient the research addressing bioethics in patient assistance in palliative care.

Objective: Investigating the occurrence of the practice of moral harassment in the workplace of nurses of the Family Health Strategy; ascertaining who are the harassers; identifying the characteristics of aggressors; verifying the consequences of the moral harassment practice for the health of the professional. Method: this is an exploratory research, with quantitative approach, developed at Family Health Units, of the city of João Pessoa, with 30 nurses, with the application of a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency and percentage. Results: from the 30 nurses of the research, ten (33,3%) suffered moral harassment, and in 46,1% of the cases, the aggressors were supporters. Regarding health problems as a consequence of the harassment, stands out the stress (92,3%). Conclusion: The study evidenced that a significantly number of nurses were victims of moral harassment in their workplaces, in a repetitive and systematically way, which causes health problems for the worker.
