The line integrated absorption cross-sections are computed in the δ and ε bands (v" = 0 ; v' = 0 and 1) of the NO molecule, having taken into account the perturbations which are present in the δ bands. The results can be directly used in atmospheric photochemistry, especially for the assessment of the NO photodissociation rate.

Les forces d'oscillateur de bandes de NO soumises à la prédissociation ont été analysées en vue d'une application à la photodissociation du monoxyde d'azote, NO, dans la mésosphère et à la stratosphère. Les valeurs adoptées des forces d'oscillateur pour les bandes δ(1,0) sont respectivement 2,3 X 10-3 et 5,8 x 10-3.

The strenght of rotation-vibration lines in the fundamental band of nitric oxide is determined for its application to aeronomical analysis of the stratosphere.
