THIS COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOLS DEBATE, WHICH CONCERNED THE QUESTION OF WHETHER OR NOT CLASSROOMS SHOULD BE DIVIDED ACCORDING TO EVALUATIONS OF STUDENT'S ABILITY BEFORE ENTRY INTO SECONDARY SCHOOLS, RAGED BETWEEN 1944 AND 1970 IN BRITAIN. THE PRACTICAL LESSON HERE DISCUSSED FROM THE CASE OF THE COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOLS IS THAT ANY POLICY ISSUE INTIMATELY CONNECTED WITH DEOLOGIES REQUIRES GOOD JUDGEMENTS.
