International audience ; Notre domaine de recherche – les hypermédias – vit un paradoxe : prisonnier des années 1990 dans l'esprit de beaucoup de nos collègues, il n'a pourtant jamais été aussi présent dans la vie quotidienne. Le micro-blogging, les wikis, les folksonomies doivent autant à Vannevar Bush, Theodor Nelson et Douglas Engelbart que les applications pionnières de notre domaine comme HyperCard, Mac Web, ComMentor ou Hyper-G. Quinze ans après les débuts de ce qui a été nommé le Web 2.0, une prise de recul est possible tant sur ses techniques, ses usages et ses conséquences sur la société. Nous proposons de retracer cette épopée socio-technique. Nous rappellerons tout d'abord la situation d'apparition de la notion de Web 2.0. Nous nous intéresserons ensuite plus particulièrement à son primat de la participation, y compris dans ses conséquences économiques, sociales, légales et politiques. Nous aborderons enfin le changement induit par le Web 2.0, profond et durable mais passé parfois inaperçu, dans la manière de concevoir le développement logiciel. Chacun de ces points sera examiné au prisme des notions, principes et valeurs fondatrices de l'Hypermédia.

The archive and culture field does not escape the need for IT specialists to prepare for the advent of the 'semantic web'. However, the example of the troyen heritage shows that what 'makes sense' for art historians and tourists is very far from what can be offered by semantic web technologies and ideology. Pour autant, l'exemple du patrimoine troyen montre que ce qui « fait sens » pour les historiens d'art et les touristes est très loin de ce que peuvent offrir les technologies et l'idéologie du Web sémantique. En suivant un scénario « d'enquête » autour du sens d'un vitrail, la démonstration est faite de l'usage des logiciels Cassandre, LaSuli, TraduXio et Porphyry comme support à l'interprétation humaine. Ces logiciels esquissent ce que pourrait être une informatique au service du sens, une informatique qui, plutôt que de chercher à automatiser le raisonnement, se focaliserait sur la « gestualisation » des opérations intellectuelles et le fait d'en garder des traces.

First, we wish to make a case for an alternative conception of linguistic diversity, which sees language pluralism not as an "obstacle" or "barrier" that needs to be (dis)solved, but rather as a value that needs to be cherished and promoted, at different levels of politics and society. Second, we also hold that the "Digital Humanities" create new possibilities and thus open a "new age" for literary translation, which will also deeply impact research and education [Lacour, P. et alii (2010a)]. Third, as we should argue, the application of interpretive and corpus-driven linguistics to Computer Assisted Translation should foster collaboration on the realm of precise translation of cultural texts [Bénel, A. and Lacour, P. (2011)] and therefore help reinforcing the sustainability of culture(s) and identity(ies), "on" and "off" line. Behind these claims, lies a conception of "language as a common good" which can (or should) be freely disposed by all its users. This paper aims consequently at proposing a more appropriate definition of the copyright for digital literary translation, especially for multilingual corpora.
