An effort to improve the quality of teachers in Indonesia was in line with the emergence of new challenges based on the need of the nation and an educational policy. In accordance with a regulation of a ministry of national education of Indonesia in 2007, the standards of academic qualifications and competencies of teachers in Indonesia should be up-graded. As Universitas Terbuka (UT) was appointed by the Indonesian government to up-grade primary teacher qualification, the study program of Primary School Teacher Training (for classroom teachers) has been the biggest program with a total student body of almost 434 thousand students (76.95% of the total UT's student body) in 2012. With a large number of student body in the Primary School Teacher Trainings program, UT developed a portal (website) which dedicated to teachers in Indonesia called Guru Pintar Online (Smart Teacher Online) in 2010. This website was designed as an open and free access for teachers in getting information related to teaching activities that would increase their competencies in a teaching-learning process. The website was considered as a pioneer in providing a wellorganized open educational resource for teachers in Indonesia. In 2011 – 2012, the website was formally introduced and socialized to teachers in 12 cities in Indonesia namely Samarinda, Surakarta, Pontianak, Jakarta, Bandung, Palu, Tangerang, Batam, Kendari, Magetan, Makassar and Medan. In 2012, we conducted a study on how elementary's teachers use and take advantages of the Guru Pintar Online website. The purpose of this study was to examine the use of discussion or communication forum for teachers as one of the features provided in the Guru Pintar Online website. The study focused on the communication or discussion forum that allows teachers to discuss and share their experiences, problems, or successes in their teaching-learning process. Abstract : The research titled Analysis Efforts Artisans Weaving Songket In Maintaining Business Continuity In the village Sudimampir Indralaya Ogan Ilir subdistrict. The aim after doing this study is to determine what efforts are being made by the songket weavers in the village Sudimampir in maintaining business continuity. The benefits of research that songket weaving craftsmen doing various strategic efforts to improve the quantity and quality of weaving songket. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The population in this study is the songket weavers in the village Sudimampir total of 120 artisans, samples taken as many as 25% of the population that is numbered 30 craftsmen. The technique of collecting data using interviews and observation. From the results of research through interviews stated that efforts songket weaving a going concern by: 1) improving the production quality of weaving songket, 2) The craftsmen manage their finances through loans and also profits. 3) Custom songket reduce expenses that are not so needed and more priority to produce the goods ordered especially goods orders already given an advance, for the wages according to job workers. 6) Varying color of thread and the type of thread used for weaving, woven songket motifs goods on display usually craftsmen produce only a few fruits and function only as examples of goods. 4) Provide the offer price is lower but still did not lose money. 5) Reduce the employees so that it can continue to provide so no appeal to buyers. 7) Following the training of weaving songket held by the government. 8) They have any other skills besides typical Palembang songket weaving. 9) Want to maintain the cultural heritage of Palembang that persisted into the typical Palembang songket weaving.Abstrak: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya apa sajakah yang dilakukan oleh pengrajin tenun songket di desa Sudimampir dalam mempertahankan kelangsungan usahanya. Manfaat penelitian supaya pengrajin tenun songket melakukan berbagai upaya strategis yang dapat meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas tenun songket. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengrajin tenun songket yang ada di Desa Sudimampir sebanyak 120 pengrajin, sampel yang diambil sebanyak 25% dari populasi yaitu berjumlah 30 pengrajin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Dari hasil penelitian melalui wawancara dinyatakan bahwa upaya pengrajin tenun songket mempertahankan kelangsungan usahanya dengan cara:1) Meningkatkan kualitas produksi tenun songketnya, 2) Para pengrajin mengelola keuangannya melalui dana pinjaman dan juga keuntungan yang didapat. 3) Pengrajin tenun songket mengurangi pengeluaran yang tidak begitu diperlukan dan lebih mendahulukan memproduksi barang-barang yang dipesan terutama barang pesanan yang sudah diberi uang muka, untuk barang pajangan biasanya pengrajin memproduksinya hanya beberapa buah saja dan fungsinya hanya sebagai contoh barang. 4) Memberikan harga penawaran yang rendah tetapi tetap tidak merugi. 5) Mengurangi pegawai sehingga bisa tetap memberikan upah yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan pekerjanya. 6) Memvariasikan warna benang dan jenis benang yang digunakan untuk menenun, motif tenunan songket yang dihasikan sehingga ada daya tarik untuk pembeli. 7) Mengikuti pelatihan untuk pengrajin tenun songket yang diadakan oleh pemerintah. 8) Ttidak memiliki keahlian lain selain menenun songket khas Palembang. 9) Ingin mempertahankan budaya warisan nenek moyang Palembang sehingga tetap bertahan menjadi pengrajin tenun songket khas Palembang.

Suatu proses pembelajaran diharapkan dapat membantu tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Tujuan tersebut dapat berupa ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran didukung oleh banyak hal.salah satunya adalah penggunaan buku ajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak potensial penggunaan buku ajar berbasis nilai pada Mata Kuliah Pendidikan Demokrasi dalam mengembangkan sikap demokratis mahasiswa. Buku ajar yang digunakan telah dikembangkan dengan berbasis nilai yang diharapkan dapat membentuk sikap demokratis mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil data tes dan observasi menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar Pendidikan Demokrasi berbasis nilai efektif dalam mengembangkan sikap demokratis mahasiswa.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui partisipasi politik masyarakat berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan di Dusun III Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim. Sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui partisipasi politik masyarakat di Dusun III Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim berdasarkan tingkat pendidikannya. Secara teoritis penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mendukung teori-teori sebelumnya yang berhubungan dengan partisipasi politik masyarakat di Dusun III Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim sedangkan secara praktis semoga bermanfaat bagi perangkat desa dan masyarakat dusun III desa Segayam serta bagi peneliti sendiri. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen, yang menjadi populasi adalah seluruh masyarakat Dusun III Desa Segayam yang sudah memiliki hak pilih yaitu berjumlah 444 orang. Sedangkan sampel adalah masyarakat Dusun III Desa Segayam yang terdiri dari empat tingkat pendidikan yaitu 15 orang tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD), 15 orang tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), 15 orang tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dan 5 orang tingkat Pendidikan Tinggi. Dalam pengambilan sampel, peneliti menggunakan teknik disproportional stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, wawancara dan kuesioner atau angket. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji Anova dan uji Tukey. Dari hasil penelitian melalui uji Anova diperoleh nilai signifikan .00 < .05, artinya terdapat perbedaan partisipasi politik masyarakat diantara empat kelompok tingkat pendidikan di Dusun III Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim. Kemudian dilakukan uji lanjutan yaitu dengan uji Tukey, pada output Homogeneous Subsets terlihat jelas bahwa setiap tingkat pendidikan memiliki nilai yang berbeda. SD memperoleh nilai 69.40, SMP 76.93, SMA 85.33 dan Pendidikan Tinggi 101.60. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi tingkat pendidikan, semakin tinggi pula partisipasi politik masyarakat di Dusun III Desa Segayam Kecamatan Gelumbang Kabupaten Muara Enim.

Abstract: This study aims to produce mobile learning media based on problems in political culture material that are valid, practical, and have potential effects. The research method used is the development method with the Hannafin and Peck models. Media validation is managed through three experts, namely material experts, media experts, and linguists. Material validation is included in the valid category with an average of 4.1, media validation is classified as valid with an average of 4.3, and language validation is categorized as very valid with an average of 4.0. Practical support by using one to one which was tested on three students with an average of 4.3 included in the very practical category and a small group with an average of 4.4 including very practical categories. In the trial of problem-based cellular learning media learning in 34 students of class XI had the potential to increase student motivation, as evidenced by the learning motivation level of 72.9% included in the high motivation category, so that it corresponds to the interpretation of the 60-80 score interpretation. % is high motivation. Based on these results it shows that problem-based mobile learning media in cultural material are declared valid, practical, and have a potential effect on students' motivation in high school. Key Words: Development, Mobile learning, Problems, PPKn Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasil media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis masalah pada materi budaya politik yang valid, praktis, dan memipunyai efek potensial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pengembangan dengan model hannafin dan Peck. Validasi media dinilai melalui tiga ahli yakni ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Validasi materi termasuk dalam kategori valid dengan rerata 4,1, validasi media tergolong valid dengan rerata 4,3, dan validasi bahasa termasuk kategori sangat valid dengan rerata 4,0. Kepraktisan dinilai dengan menggunakan tahap one to one yang diujikan kepada tiga peserta didik dengan rerata 4,3 termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis dan tahap small group dengan rerata 4,4 termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Pada tahap uji coba media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis masalah pada 34 orang peserta didik kelas XI mempunyai efek potensial untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik, terbukti dengan tingkat motivasi belajar sebesar 72,9% termasuk dalam kategori motivasi tinggi, karena berdasarkan kriteria interpretasi skor 60-80% adalah motivasi tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis masalah pada materi budaya politik dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial bagi motivasi belajar peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Atas. This research leverages Biblioshiny-R Studio to conduct a bibliometric study of 514 scholarly documents from the Scopus database (1998–2022) on corporate governance in family firms. Despite a consistent growth trajectory in research dedicated to this domain, a notable revelation surfaces: a decline in the influence of paper on this topic in last years. The collaborative nature of academic endeavors is also unveiled, with numerous international partnerships indicating a globalized approach to research. The central research themes span corporate strategy, governance, sustainability, and family structure. The findings not only contribute to existing literature but also address research gaps identified in prior research. The implications extend to both academia and practitioners, offering valuable insights for navigating the complex terrain of corporate governance in family firms.

The Indonesian government has committed to providing its entire population with energy through the National Energy Policy, which highlights the importance of diversification, environmental sustainability, and enhanced deployment of domestic energy resources. The contribution of new and renewable energy (NRE) to the nation's energy supply is mandated to reach 23% by 2025, with bioenergy an important NRE alternative. If developed and deployed appropriately, bioenergy plantations have potential to restore degraded land and enhance biodiversity and environmental services while supporting rural livelihoods. As a potential biofuel tree species suited to the tropics, Calophyllum inophyllum (nyamplung) is being tested across wide-ranging degraded forest conditions in Indonesia. Nyamplung is a potential biodiesel alternative as it grows well in harsh environmental conditions, produces non-edible seed oil, has high amounts of kernel oil and fruits profusely. Here we report growth performance in a plantation trial plot established in February 2018, on previously burned land in Mulawarman University's Bukit Soeharto Research and Educational Forest. Growth of this two-year-old plantation is strong compared to other Indonesian sites, with average survival rate above 90% on Ultisol soil, which is classified as low fertility and acidic. The findings reveal that different doses of fertilizer applications and slope gradient have no significant effects on growth performance. In addition, trees have already started to flower and fruit, and are colonized by bird species and insects, including bees and butterflies. The study indicates that nyamplung adapts well to different land and soil types. Bioenergy plantations on degraded land are a promising approach for land restoration, and enhance native biodiversity and environmental services while providing a source of renewable energy.

To achieve its national goals in climate and landscape resilience, including bioenergy production, the Government of Indonesia has launched an initiative to restore 14 million hectares of degraded land, including 2 million hectares of peatlands, by 2030. Here we present early findings on tamanu adaptability and tree growth (height, diameter and branches) on two types of degraded peatlands in Central Kalimantan. The paper reports peatland type and tamanu tree growth and adaptability in a 3-ha plantation trial plot over three years and a 2-ha plot over two years in Kalampangan and Buntoi villages. Results show survival rates of 82% in the plot on ombrogenous peat in Kalampangan and 81% on topogenous peat in Buntoi. Furthermore, the growth performance of 2-year-old tamanu trees on topogenous peat in Buntoi with an average height of 1.74 m and diameter of 3.97 cm at 5 cm above ground level and 15 branches was better than on ombrogenous peat in Kalampangan with an average height of 0.68 m and diameter of 1.43 cm at 5cm above ground level and five branches. While initial survival and tree growth results are promising, further monitoring of flowering and fruiting is necessary to determine tamanu's viability for biodiesel production on degraded peatlands.

Forest Landscape Restoration in Hilly and Mountainous Regions: Special Issue: The 'Conversion of Cropland to Forest Program' (CCFP) as a national 'Payment for Ecosystem Services' (PES) scheme in China: Institutional structure and roles, ensuring voluntarism and conditionality of subsidy payments ; China's 'Conversion of Cropland to Forest Program' (CCFP) is one of the world's largest national 'Payment for Ecosystem Services' (PES) programs, with over 32 million rural households enrolled and 28 million ha converted to forest since 1999. Given the scale of the program and emerging interest in forest landscape restoration, the structure and function of implementation models is of interest. This study is based on key informant interviews tracing the structure and interactions among institutions for implementation of the CCFP from central government to provincial and sub-provincial scales in Yunnan Province. Data are used to analyze implementation arrangements for program planning, implementation and monitoring, and to identify features ensuring conditionality of PES payments. To assess the degree of voluntarism in enrollment, the study employs data from 87 household-level interviews in four southwestern provinces. Findings indicate that the CCFP system is designed to fulfill expectations of PES programs in terms of conditionality and voluntary participation on the side of ecosystem service sellers. ; Peer reviewed

AbstractThe concept of sustainable business, which emerges as one of the consequences of environmental degradation, is currently a significant focus for many entities. Having the ability to incorporate business costs with environmental sustainability within an accounting system becomes a distinct advantage for companies. The term for this concept is referred to as "green accounting". This article aims to explore and map research related to Green Accounting using bibliometric methods, covering the observation period from 1976 to 2023. Data were sourced from the Scopus database using keywords "green accounting" and "environment* accounting". The Scopus search yielded a total of 421 articles or documents discussing Green Accounting. The employed method was bibliometric analysis, utilizing R-Studio Biblioshiny and Vos Viewer software. The results of this mapping indicate a progressive increase in publication volume over time, particularly within the last two decades. The majority of publication sources stem from the Social and Environmental Accountability Journal and are predominantly authored by individuals from the United Kingdom and the United States. The primary trending topics in green accounting research revolve around the central theme of environmental accounting, which is presently undergoing evolution and generating several other new topics.

Reproducibility in molecular and cellular studies is fundamental to scientific discovery. To establish the reproducibility of a well-defined long-term neuronal differentiation protocol, we repeated the cellular and molecular comparison of the same two iPSC lines across five distinct laboratories. Despite uncovering acceptable variability within individual laboratories, we detect poor cross-site reproducibility of the differential gene expression signature between these two lines. Factor analysis identifies the laboratory as the largest source of variation along with several variation-inflating confounders such as passaging effects and progenitor storage. Single-cell transcriptomics shows substantial cellular heterogeneity underlying inter-laboratory variability and being responsible for biases in differential gene expression inference. Factor analysis-based normalization of the combined dataset can remove the nuisance technical effects, enabling the execution of robust hypothesis-generating studies. It remains unresolved to what extent transcriptomic signatures of metabolic dysregulation and T2D can be observed in easily accessible tissues such as blood. Additionally, large-scale human studies are required to further our understanding of the putative inflammatory component of insulin resistance and T2D. Here we used transcriptomics data from individuals with (n = 789) and without (n = 2127) T2D from the IMI-DIRECT cohorts to describe the co-expression structure of whole blood that mainly reflects processes and cell types of the immune system, and how it relates to metabolically relevant clinical traits and T2D. Methods: Clusters of co-expressed genes were identified in the non-diabetic IMI-DIRECT cohort and evaluated with regard to stability, as well as preservation and rewiring in the cohort of individuals with T2D. We performed functional and immune cell signature enrichment analyses, and a genome-wide association study to describe the genetic regulation of the modules. Phenotypic and trans-omics associations of the transcriptomic modules were investigated across both IMI-DIRECT cohorts. Results: We identified 55 whole blood co-expression modules, some of which clustered in larger super-modules. We identified a large number of associations between these transcriptomic modules and measures of insulin action and glucose tolerance. Some of the metabolically linked modules reflect neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio in blood while others are independent of white blood cell estimates, including a module of genes encoding neutrophil granule proteins with antibacterial properties for which the strongest associations with clinical traits and T2D status were observed. Through the integration of genetic and multi-omics data, we provide a holistic view of the regulation and molecular context of whole blood transcriptomic modules. We furthermore identified an overlap between genetic signals for T2D and co-expression modules involved in type II interferon signaling.
