Given the growing interest in the country and the region in the Colombian political and armed conflict during the last decades, especially in relation to his treatment at school and specifically to the teaching resources that have been used to work with elementary school students, the purpose of this article is to establish possible teaching strategies for addressing the teaching of recent history in the classroom, particularly through the use of audiovisual elements. To do this, initially there is a conceptualization on topics such as memory and the teaching of recent history. Then, the article exposes the uses of film and political documentary in the classroom, and ends with some pedagogical contributions to address this sensitive issue by applying audiovisual strategies. ; Dado el creciente interés que suscita en el país y en la región el tema del conflicto político y armado que ha vivido Colombia durante las últimas décadas, sobre todo en relación con su tratamiento en la escuela y específicamente con los recursos didácticos que se han utilizado para trabajar con estudiantes de Educación Básica, el presente artículo se propone establecer unas posibles estrategias didácticas para el abordaje de la enseñanza de la historia reciente en el aula, concretamente desde elementos audiovisuales. Para ello, inicialmente se conceptualiza sobre temas como la memoria, la enseñanza de la historia reciente, se pasa luego a los usos del cine y del documental políticos en el aula y se finaliza con algunos aportes pedagógicos para abordar este sensible tema con estrategias audiovisuales.

This paper presents some episodes that illustrate how the teaching of history and the social sciences in Colombia has been a source of conflict among intellectuals, academics and the state. This body of knowledge is presented as an attractive field that can be capitalized on by different approaches to knowledge and power. The change in the names and periodic invocations of social actors who seek to recover their relevance in relation to the educational needs of the country actually highlight chapters of such tensions, in which professional historians have played a leading role.

This paper is about the pedagogic potential of human rights education and the opportunities offered by urban pedagogy in the context of citizenship education. During the last years the importance of giving relevance to individual and collective rights inside and outside the school system has been pointed out. Similarly, the pedagogical implications of the city-school-city public policy project have been understood. Such actions are presented as privileged opportunities to recreate a school system that so often seems in crisis and a citizenship education that ignores references different from the ones given by the so called citizenship competencies. ; El presente artículo trata de la potencialidad pedagógica que encarna la educación en Derechos Humanos y las posibilidades que ofrece la pedagogía urbana en el marco de la formación ciudadana. En los últimos años se ha puesto en evidencia la importancia de resaltar los derechos individuales y colectivos dentro y fuera del marco escolar, lo mismo que entender las implicaciones pedagógicas de las políticas públicas de la ciudad-escuela-ciudad; tales iniciativas se presentan como privilegiadas para recrear una escuela que con frecuencia parece en crisis y una formación ciudadana que desconoce marcos de intervención más allá de las llamadas competencias ciudadanas.

El presente escrito recoge los hallazgos de dos investigaciones centradas en el tratamiento de la violencia política y el conflicto armado en el campo educativo y escolar, específicamente en las particularidades del abordaje de la historia reciente en la escuela colombiana. A partir de la revisión de documentos académicos y la percepción de docentes en ejercicio se pudieron identificar las dificultades y potencialidades que el tema concita, especialmente aquellas relacionadas con los retos de posicionar la categoría historia reciente en el país, la importancia de las apuestas ético-políticas de los docentes para las definiciones curriculares y la ambigüedad de la normativa educativa respecto al tema del conflicto armado interno ; The present document collects the findings of two investigations focused on the treatment of political violence and armed conflict in the educational and school field, specifically in the particularities of the approach to recent history in the Colombian school. This text is a reflection paper upon teacher issue, particularly about the way the excellence of this profession valuation is subject to the interests and discourses of political and economic groups to fight over the horizon and meaning of edu- cation. To this end, a brief historical review postulating different demands on faculty has been made. Finally, the study shows how, in recent decades, an idea has been in fashion about teacher's suitability in connection with measurement, assessment, and international standards. ; El presente texto es un artículo de reflexión sobre la cuestión docente, en particular, la manera como la valoración sobre la excelencia de este oficio está sujeta a los intereses y discursos de grupos políticos y económicos por disputar el horizonte y sentido del sistema educativo. Para tal efecto, se hace un breve rastreo histórico que postula las diferentes demandas que se han hecho al cuerpo docente y a continuación se plantea cómo, en las últimas décadas, se impone una visión de la idoneidad docente vinculada a las ideas de medición, evaluación y parámetros internacionales.
