This study aims to determine the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the sales revenue of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pekalongan City. The data collected from surveys are sales revenue before and after Corona virus Pademic starting from the enactment of social distancing rules (March 16 2020 until 16 April 2020). The analysis carried out in the form of data analysis and descriptive data analysis. Based on 282 SMEs units sampled, it was found a decrease in total sales revenue of 53.5%. The type of business that has the greatest reduction in revenue sales is the fashion business. The corona virus pandemic has an economic impact to the community, especially to the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pekalongan City. This research is expected to be a policy reference for the local governments to deal with the economic crisis caused by the corona virus pandemic.

Penelitian ini menelaah lebih jauh video yang berjudul "what is the truth about post-factual politics?"mengenai kasus di Amerika terkait Trump dan di Inggris terkait Brexit. Fenomena post truth/post factual juga terjadi di Indonesia sebagaimana terlihat pada pertarungan politik yang dialami Ahok pada Pilkada DKI yang lalu. Melalui pendekatan pemikiran Michel Foucault mengenai post truth dengan logika asertif, media massa dikonstruksikan bagi pihak yang berkepentingan dan mengabaikan realitas yang sesungguhnya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media baru atau new media ternyata mampu menebar berbagai wacana mulai dari memengaruhi pemikiran, perilaku masyarakat hingga ideologi yang dianut oleh suatu masyarakat. Kata kunci: Post factual, post truth, new media This research further examines the video entitled "what is the truth about post-factual politics?" about the case in the United States related to Trump and in the UK related to Brexit. The phenomenon of Post truth/post factual also occurs in Indonesia as seen in the political struggle experienced by Ahok in the governor election (DKI Jakarta). Through Michel Foucault's approach to post truth with assertive logic, the mass media is constructed for the interested parties and ignores the real reality. The conclusion of this study indicates that new media was able to spread various discourses ranging from influencing the way of thoughts, behavior of society to the ideology adopted by a society.Keywords: Post factual, post truth, new media

Production rate of oil palm has been increased in Indonesia to meet the high demand of products. In response, companies and smallholders have improved their production through expansions. In 2018, plantation occupied a land mass of 3.4 million hectares, leading to environmental, social, and economic problems. The aims of study were to analyze the rationality responsible for the encroachment chaos in forest areas, to analyze the correlation between readiness to implement ISPO and the logic responsible for smallholders' classification, and to analyze related issues in ISPO implementation. Survey method with questionnaires was used on plasma smallholders managing independent plantations in two villages at East Kalimantan. The results showed rules guiding forest encroachment cover the activities of Smallholders with effective and substantive rationality. However, many of them are not ready to implement ISPO certification because their marketing activities are controlled by middlemen. Therefore, forest area encroachment will remain and ISPO certification will be difficult to implement.

The expansion of oil palm plantation has caused adverse impacts on the ecosystem. It has been associated with deforestation, biodiversity loss, disturbances to environmental services and livelihood change. The government of Indonesia has made an effort to control the negative effects by issuing relevant policies. One of the policies is Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO)'s sustainability standards to which large-scale plantations and smallholders are obliged to adhere. This study assesses the readiness of two types of smallholders, namely, the nucleus–plasma scheme and independent smallholders to adopt ISPO standards. Using a case study research approach in two oil palm plantation villages in East Kalimantan, the study found out a number of ISPO implementation challenges, grouped into structural and socio-cultural challenges, which make smallholders less ready to adhere to this mandatory policy. Coping with these challenges, this study proposed that land and business legality programs be expedited to strengthen property rights, and that training and education programs be intensified to enhance awareness, knowledge and capacity of smallholders to enable them to comply with sustainability standards. ; ISSN:2071-1050
